About me and my therapy practice
I offer a confidential and non-judgemental environment where you can safely explore your experiences at your own pace while supporting your emotional wellbeing. I work from a private room in Hastings Town Centre, providing a comfortable space for sessions.
My aim is to build a trusting therapeutic relationship in which you feel heard and understood. There may be times when you feel stuck or notice patterns of self-sabotage; together, we can explore these challenges.
Counselling sessions provide an opportunity to talk openly about yourself and your experiences. This process can help you make sense of what you are going through and validate your feelings. By exploring your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, we can develop a deeper understanding of them and support meaningful change.
I incorporate a range of grounding and relaxation techniques for clients who experience anxiety and related symptoms, helping you develop practical tools to manage difficult moments both during and outside of sessions.
Practice description
Individual Counselling
I offer 50-minute sessions for individuals, usually on a weekly basis. Sessions are guided by your needs and reviewed regularly. The initial assessment session gives us an opportunity to meet and get a sense of how it feels to work together. During this session, we can explore your reasons for seeking counselling and decide what may be most appropriate moving forward. You are welcome to ask any questions, sessions are paced according to your individual needs.
Couple Counselling
I offer 60- or 90-minute sessions for couples. Couple counselling can help identify difficulties within a relationship and provides space for each person to express how they feel and what they hope to gain from the process. Many couples seek therapy following a breakdown in communication, ongoing misunderstandings, or unresolved conflict that has become a source of tension.
One of my aims is to provide a safe, confidential, and balanced environment where each individual has equal opportunity to be heard. I welcome same-sex couples and couples who may be neurodivergent, and I recognise the unique challenges relationships can face. Together, we work towards greater understanding, improved communication, and meaningful change.
My Practice
I am a registered counsellor with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (Â鶹Դ´) and an accredited counsellor with the National Counselling and Psychotherapists Society (NCPS). I attend regular supervision with a UKCP-registered Psychotherapist and uphold the ethical frameworks of my professional membership organisations. I have a range of experience across private practice and the voluntary sector.
