About me and my therapy practice
Hello and welcome,
My name is Rochelle, and I’m a qualified and Â鶹Դ´-registered Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist. I offer 1:1 counselling and psychotherapy for adults and young people aged 16+, creating a safe, warm, and confidential space — whether face-to-face, online, or by phone.
I understand that starting therapy can feel daunting. Choosing the right therapist is an important and personal decision. That’s why I work relationally — at the heart of my approach is a deep belief in the healing power of the therapeutic relationship. My aim is to build a collaborative space where you feel heard, understood, and supported to explore what’s going on for you — without judgment or pressure.
My therapeutic style is grounded in compassion, empathy, and honesty. I work integratively, which means I draw from a range of therapeutic models including person-centred, psychodynamic, relational, and CBT. This allows me to tailor therapy to meet your individual needs, helping you to increase your self-awareness, process difficult experiences, and move towards meaningful and lasting change.
I work with a range of concerns, including:
Depression, low mood, anxiety, self-esteem issues, social anxiety, emotional overwhelm, attachment difficulties, childhood trauma, inner-child work, relationship challenges, anger, shame, self-harm, trauma and abuse (including domestic and sexual violence), identity, race, and intercultural issues.
I'm especially interested in how our early relationships and past experiences shape how we see ourselves and relate to others. Exploring these patterns in a safe therapeutic space can lead to meaningful growth and healing.
Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, lost, or simply curious about what’s coming up for you emotionally, therapy can offer a space to reflect, breathe, and begin to heal.
If you’d like to explore working together, I offer a free introductory call.
You don’t have to navigate things alone — support is here when you’re ready.
My first session
I offer a Free initial 15 minute initial telephone or online consultation which provides an opportunity for you to ask me any questions you may have.
Following our conversation, If you wish to proceed with therapy, we will arrange together a suitable day and time for regular weekly sessions.
