About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced psychotherapist in private practice. I work with individuals over the age of 18 and run a neurodivergent-informed/affirmative practice. My sessions are face-to-face from Towcester, Northamptonshire, with limited availability for online sessions.
So, what brings you here?
Maybe a life event has prompted you to reach out. Maybe it has been something that has been going on a long time, under the surface. Whatever it might be, you aren't alone and this isn't the end of the story for you.
Everyone who comes to therapy does so for their own unique reason, but yearns to connect with renewed meaning and purpose; to connect to who they really are and to be able to live with choice, integrity and joy.
So often, the only option was to survive. Within therapy, you and I explore what is most important for your journey and together we create the space for healing and reconnection to occur.
What happens next?
Reaching out to speak with someone is a big step and can sometimes take a lot of courage. If this is you, then well done. I offer free short phone call and, if you feel you might like to work with me, we arrange a consultation to hear what is happening for you and what you want most from coming to therapy.
Feel free to get in touch with any questions about this journey or if you feel ready to take the next step with an initial consultation.
Practice description
About my practice
I have specialist training and experience in working with trauma, including Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), compulsive behaviour, chronic illness, bereavement, crises of meaning, depression and anxiety and much more.
The therapeutic model I was initially trained in looks at the whole person; your physical, emotional and intellectual experience, but also honours your spiritual nature too, including and any religious, non-secular, alternative or spiritual beliefs you hold.
I specialise in working with neurodivergence, whether diagnosis came as a child, or in later life and especially support those who aren’t sure if they should seek an assessment or not. I am a ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP). As well as my private practice, I also facilitate workshops for therapists who wish to learn about working with neurodivergence, including ADHD and Autism.
I am a registered provider of psychotherapy with AXA Health and Aviva.
