About me and my therapy practice

I am a qualified psychotherapist specialising in Transactional Analysis with a solution-focused approach, offering a safe and supportive space for clients to explore their experiences. I work with both adults and young people aged 11 and above, tailoring my approach to meet individual needs.

I specialise in helping clients overcome trauma, PTSD, and phobias, often using the Rewind Technique, a gentle and effective method for reducing the emotional impact of distressing memories. I also have a strong focus on supporting neurodiverse clients, and as someone who is neurodiverse myself, I bring both professional expertise and personal understanding to this work.

My approach is collaborative and empowering. I work with clients to identify practical solutions, while also exploring deeper patterns that may be affecting their wellbeing. My goal is to help clients develop resilience, self-understanding, and confidence as they navigate challenges and move forward in their lives.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (Â鶹ԭ´´) and adhere to their high ethical standards. I also hold an enhanced DBS check for working safely with both adults and young people.

Above all, I aim to create a trusting, non-judgmental environment where clients feel heard, supported, and able to achieve meaningful change.

Practice description

At my practice, I provide a safe, supportive, and confidential space for adults and young people aged 11 and above to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I work primarily within the framework of Transactional Analysis, complemented by a solution-focused approach, which allows clients to identify practical ways forward while also exploring deeper patterns that may be affecting their wellbeing.

I specialise in supporting clients dealing with trauma, PTSD, and phobias, often using the Rewind Technique, a gentle yet effective method for easing the emotional impact of distressing memories. I also have a strong focus on working with neurodiverse clients, and as someone who is neurodiverse myself, I bring both professional expertise and personal insight to help clients feel understood, accepted, and empowered.

My approach is collaborative and tailored to each individual. I work alongside clients to build resilience, self-awareness, and coping strategies that promote lasting change. Whether someone is seeking support for a specific issue or wants to understand themselves better, I aim to provide a compassionate environment where clients feel heard, respected, and able to make meaningful progress.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (Â鶹ԭ´´) and adhere to their ethical framework. I also hold an enhanced DBS check for working safely with both adults and children, ensuring the highest standards of care and professionalism.

My practice is committed to empowering clients to overcome challenges, process difficult experiences, and achieve a greater sense of emotional wellbeing and confidence in their lives.

My first session

In your first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and creating a safe, non-judgmental space for you to talk about your experiences. I’ll ask about what brings you to therapy, any challenges you’re facing, and your goals for our work together.

We’ll also discuss my approach, including how Transactional Analysis and a solution-focused perspective guide our sessions, as well as any techniques we might use, such as the Rewind Technique if relevant. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions about the process, confidentiality, and how we’ll work together.

The first session is about understanding your needs, building trust, and agreeing on how best to move forward. You can expect a warm, supportive, and collaborative environment where your experiences are heard and valued. Together, we’ll begin exploring practical strategies and insights to help you feel more empowered and supported.
