About me and my therapy practice

I work with adults, young people, and children, and am fully enhanced DBS checked.

I have experience supporting individuals with anxiety, depression, stress, loss and grief, identity and health issues and challenging negative or intrusive thoughts.  I have experience of working with neurodiverse individuals.

Your sessions are tailored around you, offering a non-judgemental, empathetic space where you can talk freely and without a set agenda.  You are always in control of what we focus on and discuss.  Where it feels helpful, I can also use creative approaches such as drawing or clay to support you in exploring both past and present experiences.

My primary approach is Person-Centered, offering a warm, empathetic, and supportive space where you feel accepted and understood. I work integratively, tailoring therapy to your individual needs by drawing on approaches such as Mindfulness, Brainspotting, Creative Therapy, FETR and Solution-Focused Therapy.

Mindfulness techniques can be helpful for managing anxiety, depression and stress, supporting greater awareness and emotional balance.

Through Solution-Focused Therapy, we can identify your strengths and develop practical strategies to address current challenges.

If you have experienced emotional trauma that feels difficult to talk about, I can incorporate Brainspotting into your sessions, a powerful, focused approach that helps you identify, process, and release trauma safely. Where appropriate, I may also use Facilitating Effective Trauma Release (FETR), a gentle, body-based method that supports the nervous system release tension and trauma without revisiting traumatic events in detail. Together, these approaches can help you feel more regulated, grounded, and connected as you process experiences at your own pace.

Together, we’ll go on a journey to explore the experiences that have impacted and shaped you, at a pace that feels right for you, whilst helping you develop greater self-awareness, self-acceptance, and self-trust.
