About me and my therapy practice

I focus on understanding what it’s like to be you. When you feel safe, accepted and understood, it becomes possible to grow, heal and make meaningful change. I offer a warm, confidential and non‑judgemental space where you can talk openly and be truly heard. Together, we explore your experiences at your own pace, helping you gain clarity, self‑understanding and a sense of direction.

I have over 10 years’ experience working with adults with learning disabilities and autism, adapting my approach to ensure counselling is accessible, flexible and tailored to your needs. I also have particular experience supporting clients of colour, holding space for the cultural, social and personal contexts that shape your story. I work with anxiety, emotional overwhelm, low self‑esteem and life challenges that can feel difficult to navigate alone.

Practice description

I offer counselling from my comfortable home therapy room, as well as online or by telephone for those who prefer remote sessions. I also provide walk‑and‑talk therapy in nature, including by the beach, for clients who find movement and the outdoors supportive. Whichever setting you choose, the space is always grounded in warmth, safety and respect.

My first session

Taking the first step can be the hardest part. If you’re considering counselling, you’re very welcome to get in touch. I offer a free 15-minute consultation so you can see if I feel like the right fit for you, with no obligation.

Our first session will be a gentle introduction. We’ll go through the counselling contract together and take time to get to know each other. There’s no pressure to share more than you feel ready to, we’ll move at your pace. My aim is to help you feel as comfortable and supported as possible as we begin our work together.
