About me and my therapy practice

You may be looking for therapy because something keeps repeating, in your relationships, in how you respond under pressure, or in how hard you are on yourself. You might be functioning on the outside while feeling disconnected underneath. If that’s familiar, you’re not alone.

I work with people who want to gain a deeper understanding of themselves and are open to an exploratory process. In our work together, I offer a safe-enough relationship where you can speak honestly and be met with curiosity rather than judgement. We’ll pay close attention to patterns and to what happens in the session, so change isn’t just talked about but experienced.

Clients tell me that therapy helps them stop reacting on autopilot, understand what’s going on beneath the surface, and feel more confident in the choices they make. Therapy isn’t about quick change, but about creating lasting shifts in how you relate to yourself and the world around you.

Practice description

I work in a relational, trauma-informed, and anti-oppressive way. That means we explore not only your inner world, but also to the wider contexts that have shaped it, including identity, power, and lived experience.

My intersectional identity means I often work with clients from the global majority, and those who are LGBTQ+ or gender diverse. I have particular experience with themes such as identity, complex trauma and conflict and how these can quietly affect trust, self-worth, and relationships.

Before training as a psychotherapist, I spent 20 years in the music industry as an award-winning publicist representing high-profile artists. I know first-hand what it’s like to work in environments where comparison and competition are constant. I now support clients from creative and other high-pressure industries who are struggling with imposter syndrome, anxiety, sudden success, self-doubt and burnout.

If this sounds like the kind of therapy you’re looking for, you’re welcome to get in touch and see whether we could be a good fit.

About me and my therapy practice

If you’re a trainee or recently qualified counsellor seeking low-cost supervision, or an experienced practitioner looking for a supervisor with a different perspective, I offer a reflective and grounded space to support your growth.

Many supervisees come to me looking to broaden their perspective and deepen their understanding of the dynamics that shape therapeutic relationships. My aim is to support you in navigating these complexities within a warm, collaborative supervisory space.

As a supervisor, I work with the Seven-Eyed Model, adapted to include an explicitly anti-oppressive framework. I am a Â鶹ԭ´´ senior-accredited and UKCP-registered psychotherapist. My foundational training was within the CPCAB relational model, followed by an MA in Integrative Psychotherapy.

Before training as a psychotherapist, I spent 20 years in the music industry as a publicist. This background now informs my role as the clinical lead of a mental health service within a major UK record label, where I work alongside musicians and industry professionals. I hold this position alongside my private practice.

Practice description

I provide a supportive, reflective environment that invites thoughtful exploration of your therapeutic work. Together, we can focus on:

• Understanding your relational process with clients

• Examining unconscious power dynamics—both in the therapy room and in supervision

• Linking theory with practice in a meaningful and grounded way

• Considering and refining interventions

• Making space for personal feelings and distress arising from the work

• Supporting your self-care and resilience

• Working through ethical dilemmas

• Developing and strengthening your own therapeutic voice
