About me and my therapy practice
Come As You Are
You may be looking for therapy because something feels difficult, stuck or overwhelming. Or perhaps there isn't one particular problem; you simply want to understand yourself more deeply and make sense of your experience of the world.
I offer a warm, thoughtful and accepting space where you don't have to perform, mask or have everything figured out.
I particularly welcome people who experience themselves, or the world, a little differently. As a neurodivergent therapist, I bring both professional understanding and lived experience to my work. I know there isn't one 'right' way to communicate, think, feel, process or relate. We can find a way of working that fits you.
My practice is affirming of autistic and ADHD experiences, LGBTQ+ identities and people from culturally and racially diverse backgrounds. I am mindful of how identity, culture, belonging and experiences of being 'othered' can shape our relationship with ourselves and the world.
My approach is integrative, holistic and transpersonal. Alongside the difficulties that bring you to therapy, there is space for the deeper parts of being human, identity, creativity, relationships, the body, our inner world, meaning and connection.
Therapy with me might include conversation, silence, curiosity and reflection. We may explore old wounds and patterns, relationships, or parts of yourself you have learnt to hide or adapt.
I don't believe therapy is about fixing you. For me, it can be a process of coming home to yourself, understanding what has shaped you, discovering what matters to you and learning to trust your own inner wisdom.
Finding the right therapist matters. I offer a free 20-minute introductory conversation where we can meet, talk a little about what brings you to therapy and see how it feels to talk.
You are welcome to email me and we can take it from there.
