About me and my therapy practice

What Qualifies Me?

I am a qualified Humanistic Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist with over 10 years of clinical experience. For the past three years, I have also been a qualified supervisor, supporting fellow practitioners in their professional development. Alongside my therapeutic work, I have spent the last four years managing a team of 10 mental health advisers within the Mental Health, Counselling, and Disability Service at a London University. I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in working with individuals facing a wide range of challenges, from acute life crises to the long-term impact of complex life experiences. I am an ADHD and divorce coach helping people live their life effectively.

Taking the first step to reach out is significant, and once you do, we鈥檒l arrange an initial call to schedule your first in-person or online assessment. This session is a chance to explore how we can work together, set goals, and begin a plan to support your wellbeing.

Therapy is a collaborative journey where open and honest communication is key. It can be challenging, but it鈥檚 through this process that clients often gain a deeper understanding of themselves and their lives. This understanding starts in the therapy room and extends into everyday life.

As a humanistic integrative therapist, I offer a personalised, holistic approach drawing on person-centred, gestalt, and existential therapies. I focus on critical thinking, not to critique, but to help you interpret your inner world and uncover what you need to feel proud, at ease, and fulfilled. Together, we work to create lasting, meaningful change in a compassionate, non-judgmental space.

Testimonials

Layla, 27

鈥淚 came to Tami having dealt with ADHD my whole life with many attempts at a diagnosis. ADHD coaching with Tami has changed my world. I have let go of anger and resentment and know how to live my life alongside my ADHD which I never thought was possible. I am happy and relaxed for the first time in my life."

Ted, 58

鈥淚鈥檝e been an addict for 15 years having drunk and done drugs for a long time. Going to therapy has helped me understand why I turn to drugs and alcohol and I鈥檓 so proud to have now been clean for 8 months thanks to Tami鈥檚 care and non-judgmental therapy sessions. I feel more like myself than I have in years.鈥

Conor, 15

"I went to see Tami when I was stressed in school and in my home life. I didn't know what was wrong, but she's helped me to see what it is, and explained and taught me how to cope much better. School is much better, and I am happier with friends and family."

Arabelle, 19

"Tami has changed the way I view almost everything in my life after years of feeling low and unworthy. Tami has genuinely changed my life and I would recommend her to anyone who needs help."

Anne, 46

"I was recommended Tami by a friend when I needed to find a personal therapist alongside couples counselling. It was the best decision I could have made. My marriage has never been better and I finally know who I am after being lost as a mother and a wife. An exceptional experience. Highly recommend!"

Alan, 51

"Grief is an ongoing cycle of doom, until I found Tami who offered a safe space to feel able to express the darker side of what I found after losing my child in horrific circumstances. Thank you, Tami. I am finally living my life, not just surviving."

S and G
