About me and my therapy practice
I provide a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences at their own pace. Every client is unique, so I tailor my approach to suit your individual needs, drawing on a range of therapeutic models including Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), Humanistic, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.
The therapeutic relationship is central to my work — a safe, trusting connection allows meaningful change to happen. I work with both short-term and long-term clients, regularly reviewing progress to ensure therapy remains helpful and relevant. Sessions are flexible and structured around your needs, and I encourage open communication so therapy can evolve as your goals or circumstances change.
My aim is to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and empowered to make positive changes, whether you are managing stress, anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, or other personal challenges.
Practice description
I offer a confidential and supportive counselling service for adults, children, and counsellors in training. My practice provides a safe space to explore a wide range of issues, including anxiety, low mood, self-esteem, relationship difficulties, loss, and life transitions.
I work integratively, drawing on Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), Humanistic, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy approaches, allowing me to tailor therapy to each client’s unique needs. Whether you are seeking short-term, goal-focused support or longer-term therapy, I adapt my approach to what works best for you.
I have experience supporting clients from a variety of backgrounds and aim to create a warm, respectful space where individuals feel truly heard and understood.
The therapeutic relationship is central to my work — I believe meaningful change happens when clients feel seen, supported, and empowered. I offer both in-person and online sessions to suit your preference and needs.
My goal is to help you develop greater clarity, resilience, and self-awareness as you navigate life’s challenges, so you can move forward with confidence and a sense of personal growth.
My first session
The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and explore what brings you to counselling. I will ask questions to understand your current situation, background, and what you hope to gain from therapy. You are also welcome to ask any questions about how I work and what to expect.
This session allows us both to consider whether we feel comfortable working together. There is no obligation to continue beyond this first meeting.
I offer a reduced rate for the initial session, which will be discussed when arranging your appointment. If you decide to continue, we will agree on a regular time and day for your sessions and discuss the frequency that best suits your needs.
You may be asked to complete a short assessment form either before or during the first session. This helps clarify your goals and ensures therapy is tailored to support you effectively.
Sessions are held in a private, calm setting, either in-person or online, depending on your preference. My aim is to create a welcoming and safe space where you feel heard, respected, and supported from the very beginning.
