About me and my therapy practice
I am an accredited Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor with over six years’ experience working with adults in private practice and mental health settings.
I specialise in supporting neurodivergent adults, including those with ADHD and autism, who may be experiencing anxiety, burnout, emotional overwhelm, or difficulties in relationships.
You might be feeling exhausted, stuck, or unsure how to cope with the demands of daily life. You may be newly diagnosed, exploring neurodivergence, or trying to make sense of long-standing patterns of anxiety, stress, or relational challenges.
Practice description
I offer a calm, supportive space where we can explore what’s going on for you at your own pace. My approach is integrative, meaning I draw on a range of therapeutic models—such as psychodynamic, relational, and cognitive behavioural therapy—and tailor the work to suit your individual needs.
Together, we will look at the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, while developing practical and emotional tools to help you feel more regulated, self-aware, and able to navigate life more sustainably.
Alongside neurodivergence, I also work with anxiety, burnout, low self-esteem, trauma-related difficulties, and relationship issues.
I have been selected for the Â鶹Դ´ EDI Mentoring Scheme, where I support trainee counsellors from diverse and underrepresented backgrounds. I am committed to contributing to a more inclusive and accessible counselling profession.
My Qualifications:
• PGDip Counselling & Psychotherapy
• PGDip Personal Development & Creative Writing
• BA (Hons) Creative Writing
• NVQ Level 2 & Level 3 in Counselling Skills
Please email me to arrange an initial session where we can talk about the things you’d like to bring to therapy and we can decide if we’re a good fit.
My first session
I reserve fifty minute session for you alone, at a day and time that works for both of us.
When we meet, the first things I will do is being open to your life experiences; I will do so by carefully listening to you and giving enough space to tell your story; being present with you in here-and-now; being congruent and empathetic in communicating back feelings and emotions; giving honest responses.
I am there to facilitate the session but you are the one who leads it as it’s your life and your emotional world. If you never had counselling before, I would suggest to start with the block of six sessions but then it is also up to you to decide how many sessions you feel is needed. I am here for you
