Availability

I currently have a small amount of availability for new clients. If you'd like to talk through what's bringing you to therapy and see my approach might be a good fit for you, please get in touch.

About me and my therapy practice

Do you ever feel as though you are carrying more than you can hold? Perhaps life feels overwhelming, uncertain, or quietly unfulfilling. You may have kept your feelings to yourself for a long time, unsure whether your struggles are 鈥渆nough鈥 to bring to therapy, or where to begin.

Maybe difficult relationships, life changes, or painful experiences have left you feeling disconnected from yourself and from others. You might feel unseen or unheard, longing to be understood, yet not quite knowing how to put your feelings into words.

My Approach:

As a person-centred therapist, I offer a calm and compassionate therapeutic space where you are met with warmth, respect, and care. Whatever you bring to therapy is welcome here. Together, we can take time to explore your experiences, reflect on your thoughts and feelings, and gently uncover a deeper understanding of who you are and what you are living through.

I have worked with people from many walks of life, supporting them through times of anxiety, depression, stress, relationship difficulties, LGBTQIA+ related issues, chronic illness, menopause, becoming a parent and other life transitions, loss, abuse and trauma. For me, it is a profound privilege to support someone through their darkest moments and to witness the courage, growth, and healing that can emerge through therapy.

Practice description

Every client and every therapeutic journey is unique. Therapy can be a fascinating process of self-discovery, offering space to begin joining the dots and to find clarity about how you might wish to move forward, guided by growing self-awareness, confidence, and insight.

Alongside my core training, I bring a range of additional perspectives that may support you in understanding yourself and the challenges you are facing. These include an interest in attachment and how early relationships shape our ways of being; exploring and understanding neurodivergence where relevant, and gently noticing how emotions live and move within the body and nervous system. I may also invite awareness of the body as part of our work together, and, where helpful, offer space to explore younger or tender parts of yourself - sometimes described as 鈥渋nner child鈥 work.

"The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change." - Carl Rogers

My first session

If you feel drawn to exploring therapy with me, feel free to get in touch by email, text or phone. Reaching out to someone new can feel daunting, so I offer a free telephone or video consultation as an opportunity for us to get to know each other before booking in a first therapy session.

This will give you a feel for my approach and how I work, you can share a little about what has brought you to therapy, and you can ask me any questions you may have. The relationship between client and therapist is central to the therapeutic process, and it鈥檚 important that it feels right for you. So if after our conversation, it doesn鈥檛 feel like the right fit, just let me know, and keep searching for someone with whom it clicks.
