About me and my therapy practice

I offer psychotherapy for adults experiencing trauma, ADHD-related challenges, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions. Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed or stuck in patterns they don’t fully understand. Together, we create a confidential, supportive space to explore these experiences with curiosity and compassion.

I am an MÂ鶹ԭ´´ Accredited Psychodynamic Relational Psychotherapist. My work is grounded in a psychodynamic and relational approach, recognising how early relationships shape how we experience ourselves and others. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, I work collaboratively with you to understand deeper patterns influencing your current difficulties.

I specialise in trauma, including developmental, childhood, and intergenerational trauma, and its impact on identity, relationships, and emotional wellbeing. I also support adults with ADHD, helping them understand how attention, emotional regulation, and self-worth may be affected across life.

My background includes work in NHS GP practices, serving as Project Lead at EACH Counselling and Psychotherapy Charity, and lecturing in Counselling and Psychotherapy within Kent and Medway NHS. Before training as a psychotherapist, I developed pastoral services in schools and colleges, supporting young people, families, and professionals.

Whether you’re seeking support for a specific issue or deeper self-understanding, therapy offers space to reflect and move towards lasting change. I offer sessions in North London and online across the UK, and welcome you to get in touch for an initial conversation.

Practice description

I work with adults seeking support for trauma, ADHD-related challenges, anxiety, stress, depression, grief, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, shame, and life transitions. My approach is thoughtful, collaborative, and tailored to your individual needs.

My work has a psychodynamic foundation and is guided by a relational approach. Together, we explore how past experiences, attachment patterns, and present relationships shape emotions, beliefs, behaviours, and ways of coping. This process aims not only to relieve emotional distress but also to deepen self-awareness and support lasting change.

I have a particular interest in developmental, childhood, and intergenerational trauma, recognising how early experiences can continue to influence adult relationships, identity, confidence, and emotional wellbeing. I also work with adults who have ADHD, helping them understand the emotional and relational impact alongside practical challenges.

Sessions are available in person in North London and online across the UK. Depending on your needs, therapy may be short-term and focused or longer-term and exploratory.

My first session

Beginning therapy can feel like a significant step, and it’s natural to feel uncertain about what to expect. The first session is an opportunity for us to meet, explore what has brought you to therapy, and consider whether we feel we can work well together. You don’t need to prepare anything in advance or know exactly what to say.

During our first meeting, I’ll ask some questions to understand your current difficulties, personal history, and what you hope to gain from therapy. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions about my approach, how I work, and whether therapy feels like the right fit for you. There is no obligation to continue beyond this first session.

If we decide to work together, we’ll agree on a pace and approach that best meets your needs. Sessions are 50 minutes and can be offered either in person in North London or online.

If you’re unsure whether therapy is right for you, I also offer a complimentary 15-minute telephone conversation. This provides an opportunity to discuss what you’re looking for and decide whether you’d like to arrange an initial appointment.

Taking the first step isn’t always easy, but it can be the beginning of a deeper understanding of yourself, your relationships, and the possibility of meaningful and lasting change.
