About me and my therapy practice
Psychodynamic counselling is a personal and meaningful counselling and is supported through an attachment based approach. It can be a slow unravelling of deeper difficulties, and can be long or shorter term. Issues you would like to bring to your counselling are heard, explored and thought about perhaps in ways in which you havent done so before as I listen and pay attention to what is fully felt in your experience.
Practice description
Psychodynamic counselling can help you to develop more psychological capacity and develop better, healthier strategies to cope with life's difficulties. We can normally begin with 8-10 sessions, then we can discuss if continuing working together, either long or short term might be helpful for you.
Your sessions contract is always negotiable and exists to provide you with a frame for the areas of your life you wish to speak about. We will spend time at the begining of our work together discussing how we work together and what you might expect from counselling and what I can provide as your counsellor.
