About me and my therapy practice

Hi there, I'm Sadie. I bring together talking therapy, EMDR, and creative methods, guided by what feels right for you and supported by a strong intuitive sense of what you might need.

I don’t sit back and nod, and I don’t pretend to have all the answers. Instead, we’ll get curious together about what’s going on beneath the surface. I believe real change happens through genuine connection and by exploring the emotional wounds that still shape how we feel, think, and react today—even if we don’t realise it. For example, you might notice patterns in your relationships, strong reactions that don’t quite make sense, or a constant sense of self-doubt or anxiety. Often, that’s because parts of us are still holding onto painful or confusing experiences from earlier in life.

I draw on a mix of approaches, depending on what you need. We might explore your past through inner child work – connecting with younger parts of you that may still carry pain, fear, or unmet needs. I’m trained in EMDR (a powerful way to process trauma and stuck memories), and I often bring in creativity – using imagery, metaphor, writing, or other tools – to help things shift when words alone aren’t enough.

You don’t need to know exactly what you’re looking for when you come. Whether you’re feeling anxious, lost, overwhelmed, or just know something needs to change, we can figure it out together.
