About me and my therapy practice

You鈥檝e spent years trying to change your body.

Different diets, new food rules, endless 鈥渟tarts on Monday鈥, all in the hope that this time you鈥檒l finally feel more comfortable in your own skin. But instead, you鈥檙e left feeling like you鈥檝e failed. Like you just don鈥檛 have the willpower to make it work.

But what if I told you that the problem isn鈥檛 you, it鈥檚 the system?

The system that fuels diet culture and pushes unrealistic body standards, leaving so many people feeling stuck, ashamed, and not good enough.

I鈥檓 an intuitive eating therapist who can support you to break free from the exhausting cycle of dieting, food guilt, and body shame. If you spend much of your day thinking about what you should or shouldn鈥檛 eat, if you feel disconnected from your body, or if you鈥檙e tired of chasing a version of yourself that always feels just out of reach, you're in the right place.

Together, we鈥檒l create a supportive, non-judgemental space where you can:

鉁 Let go of unhelpful food rules and diet culture beliefs

鉁 Reconnect with your body鈥檚 natural cues around hunger, fullness, and satisfaction

鉁 Develop a more peaceful, balanced relationship with food and with yourself

This work isn鈥檛 about willpower or getting it 鈥榬ight鈥, it鈥檚 about healing your relationship with food and your body. And you don鈥檛 have to do it on your own.

Practice description

In our sessions, I鈥檒l support you to gently untangle years of food rules, body shame, and self-criticism. We鈥檒l work together to rebuild trust in your body and help you feel more settled and confident in yourself again.

My approach combines the evidence-based principles of Intuitive Eating with person-centred therapy, providing a calm, compassionate space where you can explore things at your own pace.

Clients often tell me this process brings positive changes not only to how they eat, but to how they feel in themselves day to day. As you begin to step away from the binge-restrict cycle and constant self-doubt, it鈥檚 common to notice improvements in your wellbeing, your relationships, and your overall sense of self.

This process takes courage and patience, but you don鈥檛 have to do it alone. I鈥檓 here to support you and guide you every step of the way.

About me and my therapy practice

Are you a young person feeling anxious, low, or just not quite yourself lately?

Or perhaps you鈥檙e a parent or carer, worried about your child鈥檚 mental health and unsure where to turn?

I know how challenging things can feel for young people right now 鈥 whether it鈥檚 school stress, anxiety, identity worries, or just feeling overwhelmed by life. And for parents and carers, it can be heartbreaking to watch someone you love struggle, especially when support is hard to access.

That鈥檚 where I come in. I offer a safe, welcoming space where young people can feel truly heard, accepted, and supported, exactly as they are.

I鈥檓 a person-centred therapist, which means I won鈥檛 tell anyone how they should feel. Instead, I meet them where they are and work at their pace. I bring warmth, honesty and curiosity to every session, and genuinely enjoy getting to know the young people I work with. Building trust and connection is at the heart of my work.

Practice description

Over the past seven years, I鈥檝e supported children and young people in secondary schools, through a bereavement service, and in private practice. I鈥檝e helped clients navigate anxiety, low self-esteem, grief, identity struggles, food and body image issues, self-harm, and the pressures of growing up in today鈥檚 fast-paced world.

I often use creative and practical tools to make counselling feel a little less 鈥渢alk-y鈥 鈥 especially for those who find it hard to open up. Every session is tailored to the individual.
