About me and my therapy practice
Explore. Reflect. Accept. Grow.
Hi, I鈥檓 Coral 鈥 I鈥檓 really glad you鈥檙e here.
Sometimes we feel disconnected 鈥 from ourselves, from others, or from life. That disconnection can show up in many ways: mood swings, anger, low mood, burnout, people-pleasing, or relationship struggles etc. You might feel like something鈥檚 鈥渙ff鈥 or like you鈥檝e lost touch with who you are. However things show up, you鈥檙e welcome here 鈥 exactly as you are.
I'm a qualified Person-Centred counsellor and psychotherapist with a background in philosophy, creativity, and care. I鈥檓 also neurodivergent (ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia), which brings lived empathy to my work 鈥 especially with fellow neurodivergent clients.
I offer a supportive, non-judgmental, empathetic, and honest space to explore what鈥檚 going on inside. I鈥檒l listen deeply, and when helpful, I鈥檒l gently challenge you too. Together, we can untangle what鈥檚 happening, process your previous experiences, reconnect with your sense of self, and move toward lasting change.
Growing up around severe mental illness in my family and navigating my own chronic physical health journey gives me a grounded understanding of how complex and unpredictable life can be. I know how powerful it is to feel seen and accepted.
Person-Centred Therapy is rooted in the belief that you are the expert on you, even if it doesn't always feel like it! My role isn鈥檛 to fix, diagnose, or give advice, but to create a space where you feel safe enough to explore your thoughts, feelings, and patterns at your own pace so you find the answers already within you. Whether that means talking, silence, tears, or even doodling 鈥 it鈥檚 all welcome.
Please note, I am open to working with all kinds of people, not just neurodivergent individuals.
Practice description
Neurodivergent-friendly therapy:
Being neurodivergent in a world built for neurotypicals can feel exhausting and isolating. As someone with lived experience, I understand how valuable it is to be met with genuine understanding, acceptance, and patience. Together, we can explore how your brain works, identify strengths and challenges, and develop practical, compassionate strategies that suit you.
I have a special interest, additional training, and lived experience of neurodivergence; however, I am not an expert.
Please note, I am open to working with all kinds of people, not just neurodivergent individuals.
Training & Qualifications:
I am a fully qualified Person-Centred counsellor and psychotherapist.
I hold a Higher Professional Diploma (HPD) in Person-Centred Counselling from a 麻豆原创 Accredited course. I was also awarded special achievement for being 'Top of the Class鈥 for the year of graduating.
I have further training in Online and Telephone Counselling, Working with Neurodivergent Clients, Substance Misuse, Working Creatively, Trauma, Understanding Suicide and Working with Young People.
I am insured, registered, and use encrypted email software.
I also hold a BA Philosophy degree and a Foundation Diploma in Art & Design, both of which inform my practice when working creatively or dealing with existential issues.
I run my private practice Coral Sabrina Therapy, and I also work for Randstad as an online Mental Health Student Support Mentor. I have a background in carework with the elderly, children, and animals.
My first session
Standard fees are 拢60 for a 50-minute session.
I offer reduced rates for those in need - please contact me for further details.
I offer a free 15-minute initial consultation via video call or telephone.
During the consultation, you will have the opportunity to hear more about the way in which I work, ask any questions and get a feel of what our work together would look like.
During the first session, I will go through some questions with you about your background, your current situation and your issues. This helps me work out how I can best support you. Of course, if there is anything you do not wish to answer you do not have to.
Please send me a message if you have any questions or would like to get in touch!
Thank you and have a lovely day :-)
