About me and my therapy practice
Often we do not take the time to understand why we think and feel a particular way. I will help you to explore what is working in your life and where you might be standing in your own way.
I offer both face to face and online sessions or a mixture of the two. it has to work for you ! I work with a wide range of issues from Anxiety and Depression to issues with Self Esteem, Relationship difficulties and childhood trauma.
My training is Humanistic, a fundamentally optimistic approach that is non-judgemental and empathic encouraging you to recognise your inner resources and strengths.
I am particularly interested in our childhood experiences and what we deny or repress, and how this continues to impact us as adults in our life choices, patterns of behaviour and our relationship choices.
Whatever brings you to therapy, I will offer you a chance to understand yourself better freeing you up to have better relationships with yourself and those around you.
Practice description
I am offering online and face to face counselling depending on your preference or a combination of the two.
My practice in Kensington, W10 is located a few minutes’ walk from Latimer Rd and Ladbroke Grove Tubes with PayByPhone parking opposite and in the surrounding streets.
Sessions take place at my home in a comfortable, light and spacious room and would typically be at the same day and time each week.
I have a very friendly cocker spaniel that typically sleeps during sessions if this is an issue please do let me know.
My first session
Sessions last for fifty minutes and our initial session is a chance for you to describe the reason you are looking for support and to discuss your expectations of counselling with me. I will ask you about your current relationships some family background and what you are hoping to get out of sessions.
Further sessions will be arranged typically at the same day and time each week.
