About me and my therapy practice

Are you a parent who finds yourself repeating patterns you promised you'd never repeat? Or carrying the weight of a relationship with your child that feels complicated in ways that are hard to put into words?

Perhaps you're an adult who notices the same dynamics playing out in your relationships — feeling too much, too little, or never quite knowing where you stand with the people you love.

I'm Tiffany, a Â鶹ԭ´´ Registered counsellor working online with parents and adults. I specialise in attachment — understanding how our earliest experiences shape the way we relate to ourselves, our children, and the people closest to us.

My background is unusual. Before moving into private practice, I spent several years working in primary schools and alternative provision settings — supporting children whose early experiences had already shaped how they understood safety, connection, and trust. I also worked closely with parents navigating some of the most painful situations a family can face, including those who had lost contact with their children or were going through family breakdown.

That experience taught me something important: parents who struggle rarely do so because they don't care. Most care deeply. But something in their own history gets in the way. That's the work I do now.

I work with:

— Parents who want to understand and change patterns in their relationship with their child

— Parents who have experienced family breakdown, separation from their children, or custody difficulties

— Adults who notice unhelpful patterns in their close relationships

— Adults who feel disconnected from others or from themselves

Sessions are online on Mondays and Tuesdays between 10am and 2pm. My fee is £70 per session.

I offer a free 15-minute introductory call — no obligation, just a conversation to see if working together feels right.

My first session

The first session is a chance for us to meet and begin getting a sense of what's bringing you to therapy. There's no expectation to know exactly what you want to say or where to start - we can take things at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

We'll spend some time talking about what's been going on , what your hoping for from therapy and whether working together feels like a good fit. I'll also explain how I work and answer any questions you may have. Above all, the first session is about creating a space where you feel safe, listened to and supported.
