About me and my therapy practice

There are times in our life when we need a little help. Maybe a confidential and non-judgemental space to sit for a little while. To talk to someone and tell our story. To be heard. To be witnessed perhaps? Where you can say things you might not say to your friends and family. Maybe things you have never said to anyone at all. Maybe it feels hard to be in the world right now. We all have these times. Family struggles and attachment, trauma, issues with sexuality and sensitivity.  Race, culture, grief. Do you feel different, too much or not enough? Human beings are a labyrinth of emotions, experiences, personality traits, genetic DNA and neural pathways; pathways which are open to change and rewiring, even if it feels sometimes like we don't have the power to change anything at all.  I work with you to untangle the burden and help create a new perspective. It is my belief that counselling and psychotherapy can offer transformations we cannot make alone. And that walking a difficult path with someone by your side can make an arduous journey a little more bearable.

Practice description

I am a psychotherapist and a counsellor working in W1 and W3.  My approach was first formed after a training in Transactional Analysis; the social and behavioural study of human interaction. Integrating attachment theory; the first pattern of relating formed via parents and family experiences and existentialism; the philosophy of how we manage ‘being’, I ask who we are in the world, what we want in our lives and how we make our choices. I use somatic and phenomenological approaches blended with a Jungian spiritual belief that we are whole beings in search of our parts.

I work in quiet and beautiful rooms in Acton close to both the Piccadilly and Elizabeth line as well the Mildmay  overground and Bedford Square in WC1.

I offer one to one individual therapy as well as couples therapy. My individual fees are £150 and £180 for couples. I am registered with WPA and Cigna Global.
