I am a Â鶹Դ´-registered therapist working in private practice, specialising in supporting adults who live with experiences commonly associated with Borderline Personality Disorder (also known as Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder).
Alongside my professional training, I also have personal lived experience of a formal BPD diagnosis and am now in remission. This informs my work with a deep level of understanding, empathy, and realism about both the challenges and the possibilities for change. I am clear about boundaries and use my lived experience thoughtfully and ethically, always in service of the client’s therapy.
Many clients come to me struggling with intense and rapidly changing emotions, chronic feelings of emptiness, fear of abandonment, unstable relationships, anger, dissociation, impulsive behaviours, or urges to self-harm. You may feel misunderstood or exhausted from trying to cope alone. I offer a consistent, non-judgemental, and emotionally available therapeutic relationship where safety and trust are prioritised. My work is trauma-informed and relational, with an understanding that these difficulties often develop as responses to early relational wounds, invalidation, or trauma.
I am DBT-informed and integrate practical skills where helpful.
Where risk is present, I work collaboratively and transparently with safety planning, helping clients to understand their triggers, early warning signs, and coping strategies, while maintaining clear professional safeguarding boundaries.
Therapy with me may include:
Making sense of intense emotional reactions
Exploring patterns of attachment and relationships
Developing a more stable and compassionate sense of self
Finding alternatives to self-harm and impulsive behaviours
Understanding anger, shame, and emptiness
Building resilience, agency, and hope.
I believe recovery is possible. BPD does not define who you are, and with the right support, change can be meaningful and lasting.
About me and my therapy practice
I am uniquely trained and specialise in managing and treating more complicated presentations and disorders such treating PTSD, Mood Disorders, Personality Disorders, Panic Disorders, Depression, Self-Harm, Suicidal Ideation and Bipolar issues.
I work online.
I can provide home visits following a strict risk assessment.

My first session
The frequency of sessions will be driven by your therapy needs. Some people will get what they need from counselling with just a few sessions whilst others require support over a longer period of time.
At the very beginning of therapy, we will draw up a therapeutic contract. If you only wish to have a few sessions, we will talk about what we can realistically achieve during that time. That might mean focussing on particular issues and not on others.
I tell most people that if you want to see sustainable results, it is best to plan on committing to at least six sessions together. Again, people are different, so their counselling journeys will be different. Our work is very intentional and designed to get you the results you desire.
Typically, our work is done on a weekly basis; however, some clients require more frequency while others desire the sessions to be less often. Our time in session will last approximately 60 minutes.
Please note that everything discussed is optional but will be intentionally designed for the sole purpose of your personal growth in achieving your goals.
