About me and my therapy practice
Hello, my name is Esther and I am a qualified accredited therapist, working with individuals and groupes.
Having worked in private practice as a therapist for 8 years, and in the mental health sector for a number of years, I have worked with a variety of different people and experiences. I am trauma informed in my approach, and have experience with a broad variety of issues including anxiety, depression, sex and relationship issues, trauma and sexual abuse, , self esteem/confidence
I work with you to explore difficult, confusing, or painful feelings and support you through tough situations which are coming up in your life. You can use your therapy as a safe space to slow down and explore different aspects of you and your life, like issues with relationships, feelings of anxiety or depression, why you are feeling unfulfilled, why it feels hard to get your needs met, or why you find it hard to express certain parts of yourself. We look at ways to move forward and help you to live a happier and more fulfilled life.
Every person is different, every experience is different, and they are all valid. I welcome you to bring to therapy whatever it is you need to bring and whatever is going on for you, we can work through it together
Practice description
I offer both short term and open ended therapy in person and online.
It is important to my therapy practice to acknowledge that your current and past experience is shaped by wider social and cultural experiences, or issues of identity or oppression.
I take a trauma informed, consensual and anti oppressive approach to my work, and am aligned with and affirmative of all genders and sexualities.
I primarily work face to face in a comfortable therapy room in central Dulwich, however I also offer online sessions via Zoom.

About me and my therapy practice
Hello, my name is Esther. I am a qualified, accredited therapist working with individuals and groups.
I have been in private practice for eight years and have also worked within the mental health sector for several years. During this time, I have supported a wide range of people from diverse backgrounds and with varied life experiences. My approach is trauma-informed, and I have experience working with issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship and psychosexual difficulties, trauma and sexual abuse, and challenges around self-esteem and confidence.
I work collaboratively with you to explore difficult, confusing, or painful emotions and to support you through challenging periods in your life. Therapy can offer a safe and reflective space to slow down and explore different aspects of yourself and your experiences — whether that relates to relationships, feelings of anxiety or depression, a sense of unfulfilment, difficulty getting your needs met, or struggles in expressing parts of yourself.
Together, we will consider ways to move forward, helping you to create a life that feels more meaningful and fulfilling.
Every person is unique, and every experience is valid. You are welcome to bring whatever feels important to you into our sessions. Whatever you are facing, we can work through it together.
