About me and my therapy practice
Does something need to change? Many people come to therapy may be feeling lost, overwhelmed, seeking personal growth, relationship struggles, family responsibilities, when coping mechanisms are no longer effective or wanting to work through past experiences.
We are all individual and carry our unique experiences, therefore we all naturally have different counselling needs, so I approach the sessions at your own pace and work with you to find the best way to support you.
I have specific experience with life transitions, stress and anxiety, LGBTQ+, parental adoption, neurodiversity, loss and bereavement, parental burnout, relationship challenges, abuse and shame, although any topic is welcome.
Before training as a counsellor, I worked with children and families for 20 years. This has given me a keen interest into early attachments, family dynamics and relationships.
I feel I bring these skills and knowledge into my sessions with clients providing a confidential, supportive, open space to discuss any experiences a client wishes to bring.
I work online only using zoom, daytime appointments currently and term time only.
Please contact me to arrange an initial free 20-minute session to see if I am a right for you.
