About me and my therapy practice
Clients often describe me as warm, empathic, and non-judgmental. I aim to create a safe and caring space where you feel comfortable to talk openly and explore what’s troubling you. I bring over 20 years of experience working with adults and children, and I tailor my approach to meet your individual needs.
You might be seeking support with:
• Anxiety & Panic: If anxiety is interfering with your daily life, we can explore strategies like mindfulness to help reduce its intensity, while also looking at what may have triggered it and what keeps it going.
• Difficult Childhood Experiences: We can work together to make sense of your past and understand how it affects your self-esteem, relationships, and current challenges.
• Adult Life Struggles: Whether you're facing low self-confidence, relationship difficulties, or a recent event that’s left you feeling unsettled, I offer a space to explore and process these experiences.
• Neurodivergence: You may identify as neurodivergent—perhaps with a diagnosis such as ADHD or autism, or simply a sense that your brain works differently from others. Whether you have a formal diagnosis or not, I offer a supportive, informed space to explore your experiences. I’ve undertaken considerable training in this area and work with many clients navigating the challenges and strengths that come with neurodivergence.
• Men’s Mental Health: I work with many male clients who are dealing with work stress, relationship issues, or emotional struggles. Often, they’re not used to expressing their feelings, but find relief and clarity through our sessions.
Couples & Family Counselling – Reduced Rate During Training Starting October 2025
If you're navigating challenges in your relationship or within your family dynamic, I provide a safe, supportive space to explore communication, connection, and emotional wellbeing together.
