My practice working days are Tuesdays and Thursdays.
In 2025, I will be working on Wednesdays too.
About me and my therapy practice
As a deeply caring and encouraging person, I can offer you the experience of being really listened to, helping you to move towards a greater understanding of yourself, your relationships and your needs.
Within the safety of a warm, trusting and therapeutic relationship, I will work in partnership with you to consider the issues concerning you. Within this confidential space, I can support your uniquely personal journey of exploration, understanding, and reflection, whilst always working at your pace.
Each of us seeks therapy for different reasons, some of which are clear to us, others less so. Perhaps you have had a major life event that has left you feeling challenged or you’re experiencing a lack of purpose or fulfilment in your life. Perhaps you are wondering, 'Who am I'?
I will respect your values and choices without judgement, encouraging you to bring all aspects of yourself to the sessions. I work in an empathetic and honest manner offering humor and challenge, when needed. It is my aim that you will feel supported within the therapeutic relationship that we co-create. Whether you are looking for short-term or longer-term work, our time together will be led by your needs.
As an integrative, predominantly person-centred counsellor we will work with what you bring each session but we will at times consider how past experiences might be impacting you now.
As a former physiotherapist, I am interested in how our physical and mental health work in tandem. I have a special interest in working with clients with chronic illness and how traumatic events might present in our bodies.

Selecting a therapist can be a daunting experience, but making contact can be the first step towards unlocking your potential.
Practice description
I work from a quiet practice room near to Bath University. My room is on the ground floor, surrounded by trees and plants. You may even find one or both of my ginger cats relaxing in the greenery!
There's free parking and the practice is accessible by public transport.
My first session
At our first session, we'll talk about what brings you to therapy and I can answer any questions that you may have, which may include more information on how I work, what you are hoping for from therapy, if you know. Having a 50 minute session will give you a sense of what working with me might be like and we can get a feel for whether we'd be a good fit to continue to work together.
I offer a reduced session rate of £40.00 for this initial session.
(Concessionary rates can be explored)
