About me and my therapy practice

You are holding it all together, but are you actually living fully?

On paper, you have the life you were supposed to want. You are capable, you’re responsible, and people rely on you. On the outside, everything looks fine. But if you’re honest, do you feel lost, do you feel disconnected from your own life, perhaps you feel numb in moments where you expect to feel joy?

Maybe you may wake up feeling heavy, tense, stressed, you might find yourself shutting down to your partner, reacting to small things, or just exhausted by the unseen effort of holding up the mask of 'being fine' every day.

You are functioning, but feeling disconnected from living fully. It’s common to feel exhausted by daily life. You can feel there is a bit of you that doesn’t feel right, that is niggling away stopping you from really living.

This isn't a failure; it's a survival strategy that has run its course.

Likely, you got here by being good at suppressing your needs. As a child, you may have learned that to be loved or safe, you had to hide your true self. Your brain is keeping you in a state of high alert or shutdown, even though you are safe now.

Those strategies worked then, but they are keeping you small and exhausted.

Practice description

My practice focuses on relational healing with individuals and couples who are ready to do the deep, slow work of coming back to themselves. We aren't here for a quick fix. It is a process of realigning your brain and body so you can move from just getting through to actually living your life, authentically, calmly, and fully.

My work is about bringing an intimacy you won’t find somewhere else. With people who are ready to be active participants in this process, to take what we explore in the session and weave it into their daily lives.

Together, we don't just talk about your week;

We look beyond the symptoms to see why your thoughts and nervous system are reacting this way and we work with them to shift how you respond to the world.

We look at the parts of you you’ve pushed down and we integrate them back into a whole person.

We also look at your history with compassion, exploring how, as children, we often had to suppress our authentic selves to ensure we are loved and safe.

In a world where you are constantly holding things together, I offer a space where you can simply be.

I provide a calm, compassionate presence that allows you to drop the mask. This is what allows us to do the real work: deliberately slowing down, engaging conscious awareness and learning to listen to the wisdom of your body rather than fighting it.

From surviving to thriving

The goal is to move from merely getting through your days to fully inhabiting your life.

Together, we do the deep, long-term, transformational work on how you relate to yourself and the world. The result is a shift from reactivity to conscious awareness. It is the freedom to live without the fear of rejection, the capacity to build relationships that are grounded and whole, and the quiet joy of finally feeling truly alive.
