About me and my therapy practice

I am a qualified therapist working online and in person from North London. People often come to therapy wanting to understand the patterns in their behaviour, or to make sense of difficult life experiences, and then to make lasting change. That is the work I am here to support.

I have worked across a broad range of services, including CAMHS, the NHS, educational settings and diverse community counselling services, supporting people from many different backgrounds, cultures and walks of life. That experience has taught me that no two people, and no two stories, are ever the same.

Practice description

I offer one-to-one, short and long-term counselling on a weekly basis.

I have worked in a range of settings, including CAMHS, NHS, educational and community counselling services, and now run a private practice in Islington alongside ongoing work with educational institutions.

My service is confidential and professional, with a commitment to creating a warm, accepting and open environment. Because everyone is different, and no single approach fits all, I draw on a range of therapeutic models depending on your needs and the time we have together. I also keep my knowledge up to date through continual professional development, adapting and changing with the world around me.

I am trained in adapting therapy to feel more accessible to those with additional needs such as Autism and ADHD. If this applies to you, please get in touch and I will be happy to discuss adjustments for your individual needs and preferences.

My first session

You can email or call to arrange a free initial 10 minute conversation, where we will briefly discuss what has brought you to therapy and your hopes and goals for support. It is also a chance for you to decide whether you want to commit to sessions, and whether I am the right therapist for you. If you do choose to begin sessions, I will also share an assessment form for me to learn a little more about you and your history before getting started.

Whether this is your first experience of therapy, or something you have done before, finding someone you can connect with is a key part of the process. If you decide I am not the right person for you, I will do my best to point you in the right direction for alternative support.
