Sessions from £60.00

Availability

I offer a range of appointment times, including daytime, evenings and weekends, providing flexibility around work, family life and personal commitments. This helps ensure therapy remains convenient and tailored to your needs. Whether you're looking for weekly, fortnightly or more adaptable spacing, we can find a rhythm that feels manageable and supportive for you.

About me and my therapy practice

I'm Suzie Pugh, an experienced Â鶹ԭ´´ Registered Counsellor, CBT Practitioner and Psychotherapist. I work exclusively online with clients across the UK and internationally. My approach is warm, curious and collaborative, and I tailor therapy to each person's individual needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all method.

I specialise in attachment-focused therapy and inner child work, and I also support clients with anxiety, OCD, body dysmorphia (body image issues), eating disorders, relational and communication issues and healing from narcissistic or emotionally harmful relationships.

As an integrative therapist, I blend person-centred values with evidence-based CBT and attachment-focused approaches. Together, we explore what feels helpful, what feels challenging, and what you need for things to feel different. Sessions move at your pace, and you remain in control of what we explore.

I'm currently completing a CPCAB-Accredited Level 7 Post-Graduate Diploma (Masters Level) in Attachment-Focused Psychotherapy, through which I am expanding into couples counselling and clinical supervision.

My aim is to offer a supportive, grounded therapeutic relationship, helping you to understand and manage emotions and build stronger, healthier relationships.

Practice description

Therapy with me is a safe, consistent, and non-judgmental space where you can explore whatever is weighing on you, whether that is anxiety, relationship struggles, past experiences, or patterns you want to change.

I work relationally, meaning our therapeutic relationship becomes part of the healing process. Together we build safety, trust and curiosity so that deeper insight and change can unfold naturally. You will be met with empathy, compassion and clarity, as well as gentle challenge when appropriate.

As an integrative therapist, I draw from:-

Attachment-focused therapy to explore patterns, wounds and relational needs.

Inner child work to support healing at an emotional, developmental level.

CBT techniques to manage anxiety, intrusive, obsessive thoughts and unhelpful behaviours.

Person-centred principles to create a space where you feel fully heard and understood.

Clients often say they feel deeply supported, more regulated, and able to understand themselves in new ways. My goal is for you to leave therapy with clarity, confidence and tools that strengthen your wellbeing beyond our sessions.

My first session

I offer a free 15-minute online or telephone consultation so we can explore what you're looking for and ensure we feel like the right fit. There's no pressure or expectation, simply a chance to meet, ask questions, and get a sense of how I work.

If we decide to move forward, your first full session will be a gentle, collaborative exploration of what brings you to therapy and what you hope to gain from it. We can talk through your goals (or help you find them if you're unsure), your history, and what support you need right now. I can explain how I work, answer questions, and ensure the pace feels comfortable for you.

Many clients feel a sense of relief after the first session - the experience of being listened to and understood can itself be grounding and settling.

What I can help with

Anxiety, Chronic fatigue syndrome / ME, Depression, Disability, Eating disorders, Health related issues, Infertility, Menopause, Men's issues, Mood disorder, Narcissism, Neurodiversity, Obsessions, OCD, Personal development, Phobias, Pregnancy related issues, Relationships, Self esteem, Stress, Women's issues

I offer a range of supervision appointment times, including daytime, evenings, and weekends, to fit around your professional and personal commitments.  My aim is to make supervision accessible, supportive, and tailored to your needs, helping you maintain continuity in your reflective and clinical work.  Whether you prefer weekly, fortnightly, or more flexible sessions, we'll find a rhythm that feels manageable and fosters your professional needs, development, confidence and well-being.

I also offer between-session availability free of charge, for ethical issues, safeguarding concerns, dilemmas that can't wait, and moments where you simply need to check in.

About me and my therapy practice

I'm Suzie Pugh, an Attachment-Focused Clinical Supervisor and also an experienced Â鶹ԭ´´ Registered Counsellor, CBT Practitioner and Psychotherapist.  I work exclusively online, providing supportive, reflective supervision to trainee therapists, newly qualified practitioners and experienced clinicians working in private practice, within agency settings or online platforms such as Betterhelp.

I am currently completing a CPCAB Accredited Level 7 Post-Graduate Diploma (Masters Level) in Attachment-Focused Psychotherapy, which includes full clinical supervisor training.  I have now completed all required training to practice as a supervisor, with specialities in working with person-centred counsellors, CBT Practitioners or psychotherapists.

My supervision style is warm, relational and collaborative, with a strong focus on attachment processes, reflective capacity and ethical, safe client work.   I tailor supervision to the supervisee's developmental stage, confidence, modality and professional context, meeting you where you are and supporting your growth at a pace that feels manageable and affirming.

I draw on a range of well-researched, integrative supervision models, including Attachment-Focused Supervision, the Seven-Eyed Model of Supervision (Hawkins & Shohet), the Functional Model (Inskipp & Proctor) and the Reflective Learning Model (Davys & Beddoe).  This integrative approach blends person-centred values, CBT thinking, and an understanding of the supervisee's unique needs and clinical context.

I adapt supervision dynamically, offering structure, ethical guidance, and support around risk when needed, and moving to exploratory, reflective and relational work, as needed.  My aim is to create a secure, attuned space where you can reflect safely, explore challenges, celebrate successes, and deepen your professional development.
