About me and my therapy practice
I offer an integrative approach to counselling, which means I tailor therapy to suit you as an individual. Rather than applying a single therapeutic model, I draw on different approaches to respond to your emotional needs, life experiences, and personal goals.
My aim is to build a meaningful and trusting therapeutic relationship where you feel safe, heard, and understood. I work with empathy, warmth and without judgement, creating a supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings openly.
I believe that therapy is a collaborative process. Together, we can explore what may be holding you back, identify patterns that no longer serve you, and work towards the changes you would like to see in your life.
Practice description
I work with children, young people and adults facing a wide range of challenges, including:
Bereavement and loss
Anxiety and depression
Redundancy and life transitions
Low self-esteem
Cultural and relationship difficulties
Anger management
Troubled family backgrounds
In addition to being a qualified counsellor, my professional background includes working in education and supporting children and young people who have experienced challenging behaviour, low self-esteem, family difficulties, and involvement with the police outside of school.
This experience has given me a deeper understanding of how personal history, relationships, and environment can impact emotional wellbeing.
I am open to working with individuals from all backgrounds.

Fee: £65 per session
My first session
Taking the first step towards counselling can feel daunting, and it is important that you feel comfortable.
During our initial consultation (either face-to-face or by telephone), you will have the opportunity to:
Talk about what has brought you to therapy
Share any concerns or questions
Discuss your expectations
Explore your specific needs
This session is also an opportunity for us to see whether we feel comfortable working together. There is no obligation to continue — the most important thing is that you feel supported and confident in your choice.
