About me and my therapy practice
My approach to therapeutic work is warm, relaxed and collaborative. I am an integrative therapist meaning I tailor my approach to suit each individual I work with.
Therapy isn't just for times of crisis. Common reasons for seeking therapy are feeling sad, anxious or depressed. Perhaps you are seeking help for a specific reason such as the loss of a job, the loss of a loved one or problems in your relationship. Maybe you feel stuck in your job, in your life or in relationships and you're not sure why. Together we can explore what's on your mind in a non judgemental and confidential space.
Research has shown that a good therapeutic relationship is essential to successful therapy which is why I believe the most important factor is that you feel comfortable and safe enough to be able to share how you are feeling.
Practice description
I am a qualified Â鶹Դ´ Accredited Psychotherapist. I completed a masters degree in Therapeutic Counselling and trained in integrative psychotherapy so I am able to work with a range of therapeutic modalities, ranging from CBT to psychodynamic approaches, depending on your needs.
As well as working in private practice, I worked as a counsellor at a community based charity in East London for two years working with a wide range of wellbeing and mental health issues.
Prior to training as psychotherapist I worked in advertising and then education so I am able to draw on experience of working in both corporate and academic environments.
I am a registered and accredited member of the Â鶹Դ´ and adhere to their code of ethics and standards of professional practice.
My first session
I offer a free initial 10 minute phone consultation to see if you think we would work well together. It’s also a chance to hear what is going on for you and you can ask any questions you might have about therapy.
An initial session allows you to experience what therapy might be like and there is no obligation to commit to sessions straightaway.
If you would like more information please complete the form or email me: laura@greenwaypsychotherapy.com
I aim to reply within 24 hours.

Availability
I currently have availability during the day to take on new supervisees. I am flexible with days and times and can offer either a fixed day or time each month or be more flexible if that is what you need.
About me and my therapy practice
I am a trainee supervisor currently completing a supervision diploma at the Centre for Supervision Training & Development (CSTD) in Bath.
I work with both trainee therapists as well as qualified therapists who are established in private practice, within an organisation or a charity setting.
I work in an integrative way using the Seven Eyed Model of supervision as a framework for my practice. As with my therapy practice, my main focus is on building a strong relationship with you to develop trust and support in your work as well as ensuring you feel safe and supported enough to build on personal confidence and maintain levels of resilience in your therapeutic work.
