About me and my therapy practice
If you're struggling with anxiety that won't let go, weighed down by depression that saps your energy and joy, or struggling with PTSD symptoms like flashbacks, nightmares, hyper-vigilance, avoidance, or feeling numb or unsafe from a heightened stress response.
I offer a non-judgemental space where overwhelming emotions can be regulated, anticipatory fears alleviated, and past events processed safely. Relief from constant fear and low mood; to feel grounded, in control, and hopeful again; to build trust in yourself and others; to sleep better, engage with life and enjoy relationships and reclaim purpose and lasting resilience.
I am an integrative, trauma informed adult and child EMDR therapist. I am a qualified clinical supervisor with over ten year's post qualifying experience from my core model, person centred. I have worked with a diverse range of people experiencing challenges in their lives in adult NHS talking therapies, educational settings and within private practice.
I believe that counselling and psychotherapy can have a significant impact on our lives, where we can develop the relationship with ourselves and to others, in new and more fulfilling ways. Learning about how we experience ourselves emotionally, behaviourally and physically, informs how we relate to others.

Practice description
Supervision offers us the opportunity to become present to whatever is being highlighted through our work, to step back and notice what is being disturbed in the process. To find ways to turn this into new understanding, new compassion for self and other, and greater acceptance of our shared understanding of each other. I am committed to offering a safe, confidential and supportive space to reflect on your practice.Supervision is a space for you to bring anything from your professional life that you would like to discuss including, focusing in and exploring your experiences with your clients. Reflecting on your work life balance or considering your professional development goals. It may be recognising the challenges of self-care, or identifying where your personal story is interacting with your work as a therapist.
I offer a commitment to providing a non-discriminatory service, respecting diversity in all aspects of our work.
