About me and my therapy practice

I work with people navigating life shifts, emotional complexity, and questions of meaning, identity and direction. You may be feeling anxious, stuck, overwhelmed, or aware that something in your life no longer feels quite right.

My approach is integrative and transpersonal, drawing on psychodynamic, humanistic, Gestalt, attachment and Jungian ideas. I see therapy as a space to explore not only current difficulties, but also the deeper patterns, relationships and inner experiences that shape how you feel and live.

I have experience of working in the corporate world, and having grown up in Romania and lived in the UK since 2007, I also bring an understanding of what it can mean to live between cultures.

I offer counselling and psychotherapy in South East London and online via Zoom. My work is relational, thoughtful and carefully paced, offering space for reflection, emotional understanding and meaningful change.

Practice description

My approach is informed by both professional training and lived experience.

I have experience of living between two cultures, having grown up in Romania and lived in the UK since 2007. Through my corporate background, I also understand the pressures of responsibility, performance and constant decision-making, and how difficult it can be to slow down when others depend on you.

My work is integrative and transpersonal. I see people as more than their difficulties or symptoms, and therapy as a space where emotional pain, uncertainty or life transitions can be explored with depth, care and curiosity. This may include questions of identity, meaning, relationships, grief, motherhood, belonging, work, family life or change.

A transpersonal perspective does not require any particular belief system. It simply allows space for the whole person — including inner life, values, dreams, images, intuition and the search for authenticity — alongside the practical realities of everyday life.

Clients often describe my approach as calm, attuned and thoughtful. I work collaboratively and at a pace that feels safe, offering a non-judgemental space where complexity is welcome. My aim is not quick fixes, but meaningful and lasting change through understanding, reflection and relational safety.

I am a registered member of the Â鶹ԭ´´ and abide by their ethical framework.

My first session

I offer 20 minutes introductory free of charge call. Post that the first session (and the subsequent ones) will be 50 minutes long. I see the first 50 minutes session as an opportunity for us to get to know each other, for me to understand a bit about what bring you to therapy and for us both to understand if we can work together. I do encourage people to try few therapists before deciding whom they want to work with.

My first session

I offer a 20 minutes free telephone chat before we meet face to face.

I see the first session as a way to get to meet and see if we can work together. I generally use the session to understand what brings you to therapy and what are your hopes and fears and what are you looking to achieve. Also to understand a bit more about your background and how you got where you are today.

I do encourage all my clients to use the first session to get a sense of the therapist and the space in between.
