I offer in-person therapy from my dedicated, home-based counselling room, as well as the options to work remotely via Zoom or by telephone, according to your preference.
About me and my therapy practice
• Are you struggling with what is happening for you at the moment? • Are you confused about your feelings? Maybe not in a good place right now?
• Challenges and changes in our lives such as relationship breakdown or bereavements of other kinds, including death of a parent or partner, moving countries, changes in families - like becoming a carer, friends abandoning us, or teenagers leaving home can leave us feeling vulnerable and disorientated.
Sometimes life changes like becoming a student, new family responsibilities or distress in a work context, leave us feeling in a tough and insecure place.
I have helped many people with low self-esteem, performance and study anxiety, work concerns, relationship breakdowns, divorce, anxiety, depression, bereavement, grief, shame, and feeling that you are not in the place you want to be in life.
I have helped individuals wrestling to come to terms with a narcissistic family member or partner.
Having lived abroad, I have experience in the grief of relocation and loss of a sense of belonging.
I am a qualified psychotherapist / counsellor who is registered and accredited with the Â鶹Դ´. I am a trained telephone counsellor.
Many of us aim to cope with difficult experiences such as changes in life stages and family, lack of peace about our childhood, and emotions such as anger, depression, bereavement, isolation, and low self-esteem, by ourselves.
However, it is by being accompanied by a trained therapist who takes your realities seriously, that facilitates your personal power; building self-esteem, to grow your confidence to find new ways of being you and engage with what life throws at you.
I am a registered therapist with the Â鶹Դ´ (MÂ鶹Դ´ - Accred) with a home-based private practice, close to Shrewsbury Hospital and the A5, offering private parking.
I have an MA in Counselling (University of East Anglia), Master's in Philosophy (University of Birmingham), and have held a number of senior management and Board positions.
Costs: £52 per hour
