About me and my therapy practice
I provide compassionate, soothing and non-judgmental online counselling for adults.
Are you plagued with thoughts of self- doubt, not being good enough, feeling like a fraud or invisible, lacking confidence in your own abilities, struggling with imposter syndrome? Feeling critical of yourself can greatly affect all areas of your life.
Are you trapped in your head, grappling with overwhelming events in the past or haunted by early life experiences?
Perhaps you like to feel dependable (or are expected to be that) but feel overwhelmed with the demands of work or family – always feeling as though you are pleasing others to the detriment of yourself
Maybe you portray the image of being very together but inside you feel stressed, burnt out, lost, stuck and find it hard to stay on top of things.
Investing in counselling with me can help you:
• Reduce and manage stress, anxiety and worry and experience better mood
• Understand how your nervous system works so you can regulate your emotions in a better way.
• Explore your feelings of not being good enough, identify and understand the origins of that thinking and learn to challenge it and turn around negative self talk.
• Communicate effectively, clearly and assertively
• Come to terms with a childhood that may not have met your needs
• Understand family dynamics
• Tackle perfectionism and procrastination enabling you to get stuck in and actually do something that needs doing
• Increase confidence and self esteem, changing your mindset about yourself, moving you forward in a more fulfilling way.
• Manage fear of judgment
• Handle yourself better in relationships and at work
If you think you might enjoy therapeutic journaling, please let me know as we can incorporate elements of that in our sessions.
As all of my sessions take place online, you can see me wherever you are in the UK so long as you have a confidential space at your end where you will not be disturbed during your session.
