Fees and Session Information

Sessions last 50 minutes and are held online or by telephone, offering a flexible and accessible way to fit therapy into your week.

I offer a free 20-minute introductory session, giving you the opportunity to see how I work and decide if it feels like the right fit before committing.

My standard session fee is £60 per session, payable by bank transfer before each appointment. A concession rate of £40 is available for those on lower incomes or in training — please feel free to ask if this would be helpful.

Therapy works best when sessions are regular, whilst some people prefer weekly others prefer fortnightly sessions – together we will agree a way of working that suits you.

Whether you’re looking for short-term support or longer-term exploration, we’ll work together to find a pace and structure that feels right for you. My aim is to create a steady, supportive space where you can reflect, grow, and move forward with clarity and confidence.

I offer appointments throughout the daytime and early evenings, Monday to Friday, to provide flexibility and make therapy accessible around your other commitments.

Many of my clients balance work, family, and busy schedules, so I aim to offer times that fit comfortably into your week. Whether you prefer to talk before work, during the day, or in the early evening, we can find a regular time that suits you best.

Sessions take place online or by telephone, allowing you to choose a calm, private setting that feels right for you — whether that’s from home, during a quiet break, or after a busy day.

Please feel free to contact me to discuss current availability or to arrange your free 20-minute introductory session.

About me and my therapy practice

At Kellyanne Counselling, my aim is to offer a calm, confidential space where you can talk openly and feel heard without judgement. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, self-doubt, low mood, workplace stress, or the emotional impact of life changes, therapy offers a chance to pause, reflect, and understand what’s happening beneath the surface.

I work integratively, drawing on Person-Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused approaches to tailor each session to your needs. Together, we can explore both what feels difficult right now and practical ways to move forward — helping you build confidence, develop self-awareness, and create meaningful, lasting change at your own pace.

My style is warm, collaborative, and conversational. I believe you are the expert in your own life, and my role is to support you in finding your own answers. We might explore patterns in how you think, feel, and respond, notice your strengths, and identify small, meaningful steps that move you closer to where you want to be.

All sessions take place online or by telephone, allowing you to choose a setting that feels comfortable and private. This flexibility can be especially helpful if you have a busy lifestyle, care commitments, or simply prefer the familiarity of your own space.

Clients often tell me that therapy helps them feel lighter, clearer, and more able to cope — not because everything changes overnight, but because they begin to understand themselves differently. My aim is to create the right conditions for that understanding to grow, so you can live and work with greater calm, balance, and self-trust.

I offer a free, no-obligation introductory session, so you can get a feel for how I work and decide if it feels right for you.

Practice description

Hello, I’m Kellyanne — a Â鶹ԭ´´-accredited online and telephone counsellor based in Poole, working primarily with women’s emotional wellbeing and life transitions.

I understand that reaching out for support can feel daunting, so I aim to make that first step as calm and comfortable as possible. My approach is down-to-earth, warm and collaborative, offering space to explore what’s happening for you without fear of judgement.

Whether you’re experiencing anxiety, overwhelm, relationship challenges, workplace stress, loss, or a sense of disconnection, I’ll support you in understanding patterns, building coping strategies, and developing confidence in managing day-to-day life.

Much of my work focuses on helping women reconnect with their sense of identity, navigate change and uncertainty, and find strength through self-awareness and compassion. I believe small, consistent steps can lead to meaningful, lasting change.

Together, we’ll focus on what matters most to you, helping you to see life from new perspectives and move forward with greater clarity, calm, and confidence.

My first session

Taking the first step towards counselling can feel like a big decision, so I aim to make the process as welcoming and straightforward as possible.

I offer a free, 20-minute introductory session via video call or telephone. This is a chance for you to get a sense of how I work, explore what brings you to therapy, and decide whether it feels like a good fit. There’s no pressure to commit — it’s simply a relaxed space to ask questions, share what’s been going on for you, and see how talking together might help.

If you decide to continue, our first full session will be more in-depth. We’ll begin by exploring your goals, what you’d like to change or understand better, and any specific areas you’d like support with. I’ll explain how therapy works in practice — including confidentiality, boundaries, and flexibility — so that you feel informed and comfortable from the start.

Some clients prefer to begin by talking freely about what’s happening in their life, while others appreciate more structure. I adapt the first session to suit your pace and comfort level. If helpful, we can use gentle check-ins or reflective tools to clarify where you’re starting from, but there’s no formal testing or paperwork beyond what’s needed for ethical practice.

My aim is for you to leave the first session feeling listened to, supported, and clearer about what therapy could offer. Whether you’re coming with a specific issue or just a sense that something doesn’t feel right, we’ll work together to create a direction that feels right for you.
