About me and my therapy practice
I am a psychotherapist and supervisor with a master’s degree in Mindfulness-Based Core Process Psychotherapy, and I am also an accredited EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) practitioner.
My work is grounded in mindfulness and an embodied awareness of the present moment. One central focus of my approach is exploring the space where mind and body meet. I see them as deeply interconnected—the body holds wisdom and often speaks in ways the mind cannot. By bringing mindful attention to the sensations, feelings, and thoughts that arise in the body, we can deepen our understanding of our emotional landscape. Listening inwardly in this way can open pathways to both our current and past experiences.
This understanding led me to EMDR, which works with the principle that certain experiences can become ‘locked’ or unprocessed within the body. EMDR offers an effective way of helping individuals release the impact of traumatic experiences.
Another key aspect of my practice is cultivating mindful and embodied presence in the here and now. Together, we can explore what is happening in the present moment. Therapy, in this sense, becomes a collaborative inquiry: by bringing gentle awareness to our experience, we can begin to recognise and transform old patterns that may no longer serve us.
My work is holistic, engaging with emotional, physical, psychological, and spiritual dimensions. If it feels relevant to you, there is space within our sessions to explore questions of meaning, purpose, and your unique sense of connection with life.
I am accredited with the UKCP and a registered member of the Â鶹Դ´, and I adhere to their codes of ethics and professional practice.

About me and my therapy practice
I have been working as a psychotherapist in private practice for nearly 10 years and completed the Contemplative Supervision Training at the Karuna Institute with Maura Sills in October 2023. As a supervisor, I draw not only on the contemplative approach but also on my experience with EMDR and body-focused techniques.
My first session
Before you commit to regular supervision, I suggest an initial, non-committal meeting where we have a little bit of time to get a sense of each other and discuss any questions you might have. I charge £50 for 50mins for initial meetings rather than £80 for a regular session of 50mins.
