About me and my therapy practice
Hello,
I'm a qualified and experienced therapist offering a warm, supportive and non-judgemental space for both individuals and couples.
For individuals, I have a particular interest in supporting people who struggle with OCD, intrusive thoughts, anxiety, low mood, depression, trauma, self-esteem issues, disordered eating, family and relationship difficulties, and ongoing emotional distress.
I can support you by using effective approaches to help with anxiety, negative or self-critical thought patterns, unhelpful narratives, and behaviours that may feel difficult to shift. I may gently offer observations to help increase awareness, creating space for new perspectives and a greater sense of choice when you feel stuck. We will work at your pace, aiming to develop a stronger, more resilient sense of self, greater self-compassion and emotional understanding.
For couples, every relationship develops its own habits over time. Some are obvious, others more subtle, ways of listening, responding, supporting one another, or managing differences. These habits often form quietly, shaped by stress, routines, past experiences, and moments of closeness or hurt.
It can be helpful to pause and gently notice what currently exists between you.
How do you listen to one another?
How do you offer support and encouragement?
How accepting does the relationship feel?
What about trust and respect?
How do you negotiate differences?
You may be experiencing communication difficulties, emotional disconnection, or recurring patterns of conflict.
I'll facilitate in exploring your relational dynamics by offering a calm space to help you explore these patterns together. I support couples in slowing things down, understanding one another more clearly, and developing healthier ways of listening, responding, and negotiating differences. Therapy can help create space for honesty, repair, and reconnection, allowing new relational habits to form that feel more secure, respectful, and supportive for both of you.
Practice description
I currently work from 3 private practices - each practice offers a comfortable and relaxed environment.

I work confidentially and ethically within the ethical framework of the Â鶹Դ´ (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy)
My first session
If you've not had therapy before, the first session can feel daunting - especially when you're not sure what to expect. It may help to think of it as a safe, confidential space where you can talk freely and without judgement.
I'll do my best to help you feel welcome and comfortable enough to share what has brought you to therapy.
There's no sense of how the first session should be, we'll simply start where you are.
There's no obligation to decide whether therapy will be short or long-term. At the end of each session, I'll offer the space to you, and we can take things one step at a time.
