About me and my therapy practice
You may be considering counselling or therapy for the first time, or to continue a journey of self-exploration. Sometimes, you may seem to be coping on the outside, while inside, feeling anxious, overwhelmed or stuck. You may be impacted by difficult experiences in the past or present. Perhaps you hope to have a richer and more rewarding relationship with yourself and others. Therapy can help this, as we work together to make sense of your experience, identify challenges, and find your inner and outer resources. An exploratory talk may help you decide.
Practice description
I work sensitively with intersectional identities. I use culturally, racially, ethnically, LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent affirming practice. I include the the pressures of social inequities, masking and burnout. I hold a firm commitment to anti-oppressive practice. I'm trained in a range of modalities, so I tailor my approach to suit your needs, rather than a 'one-size-fits-all.'
I provide a warm space to support you. Sometimes a chance to voice what's going on for you can offer relief. In the safe space we create together, we can reflect on and explore any issues you might have, any difficult feelings, or any unwanted thoughts. We can also affirm and celebrate your talents and achievements, as we travel the road to insight, compassion, growth and change. The aim is to find meaning and the capacity to live a fuller life.
I'm a relational therapist. Relational work means that I see us as two human beings in the room, not as one expert and one 'patient.' I intend to be honest, open and curious when I reflect with you. If I get it wrong, I intend to be honest about that too, and see how we can learn and grow from it, as often this situation presents an opportunity for more intimacy between us.
My first session
I offer a free 15-minute Zoom/phone consultation, and an initial meeting at a one-off reduced fee of £70 for individuals and £80 for couples. Here we’d explore, with your permission, what’s brought you to therapy and address any questions you may have for me. There’s no obligation attached to a call or a meeting. Both are a chance to see if we’re suited to work together.
Should we decide to continue, sessions are £90 for individuals, and £120 for couples.
I have some limited concessionary spaces available.

About me and my therapy practice
I'm an experienced UKCP-accredited supervisor. I provide individual and group supervision to trainee and qualified counsellors and therapists.
I aim to build a transparent, supportive and human supervisory relationship. I see supervision as a reflective arena to express and debrief feelings or events that may belong with the therapist, with the client, or in their co-created space. In supervision, a unique and mutual learning relationship can develop, offering professional and personal growth and enhancing practice.
I work with parallel process, field dynamics, transference and counter-transference, cultural sensitivity, intersectionality, the application of ethical principles and and how to find a creative edge. I hold a firm commitment to anti-oppressive practice.
As an Integrative therapist and supervisor, I'm trained in a range of modalities. I'm informed by humanistic, psychodynamic, existential, systemic, attachment-based, trauma-informed, neurobiological and transpersonal theories.
An exploratory Zoom/phone call may be helpful in the first instance. No obligation is attached to a call or a first meeting. These are a chance to see if we're suited to work together.
