About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced counsellor and Relate trained Relationship Therapist, offering sessions for both individuals and couples.
I offer a confidential and compassionate space where you can express yourself and feel heard. Together, we’ll explore what’s happening in your life and work towards practical steps that can lead to a more fulfilling and balanced future. My focus is on nurturing healthy relationships—both with yourself and with others—through empathy, understanding, and mutual respect.
In today’s fast-paced world, it’s easy to feel disconnected, lost, or as though you don’t quite belong. Sometimes, having a conversation in a supportive, non-judgmental space can help you gain clarity and start to move forward. Often, we know something needs to change, but we struggle to articulate what we’re feeling or what’s wrong.
Sharing your thoughts in a safe environment can be both healing and empowering.
In couples work my approach is designed to create a safe and balanced space where both parties feel equally heard and understood. I work to ensure that both individuals in the relationship have the opportunity to express their thoughts and feelings openly, without fear of judgment or interruption. Ultimately, the goal is to help both partners feel that their voice matters, and to work together towards a healthier, more fulfilling relationship
I have extensive experience as a counsellor and relationship therapist, working with a broad range of issues. My background includes working with Relate, a cancer charity, and supporting individuals who are neurodiverse, including those with autism, both individually and within relationships.
Practice description
I work from home in a room in my garden. I offer face to face counselling or On-Line via Zoom platform for individuals and couples.
My first session
After I receive your enquiry I will arrange a phone call to hear briefly what you would like from counselling. I can also outline how I work. It is important to find the right counsellor for you, someone you feel able to work with.
