I am a skilled, experienced, & conscientious psychotherapist providing professional, effective long-term treatment for young people & adults suffering with depression, anxiety, loss, trauma, addictions, relationship difficulties, those feeling lost, overwhelmed, or seeking meaning in their lives.

About me and my therapy practice

People often come to therapy wanting immediate relief from distress, but Psychotherapy often leads to a deeper, more genuine understanding of oneself. I work with young people & adults, in-person & online, in developing meaningful & lasting changes in themselves & their relationships.

Much of what shapes how we think & feel happens outside our awareness. We repeat familiar patterns, particularly in relationships, we overthink, we get stuck, without fully understanding why. Psychotherapy helps bring these patterns into awareness to be explored&understood.

We pay attention to what emerges in your life & within the therapy relationship itself. Change develops through this shared process of reflection and understanding, helping you to know yourself more fully & relate to others in more satisfying ways.

I encourage speaking freely about whatever feels important, thoughts, emotions, memories, experiences, at your own pace. I don't diagnose or offer advice,

We don't focus on symptoms alone, but on getting to know the many parts of 'you'. The aim is not to provide quick fixes, but to support you in developing a more honest & compassionate relationship with yourself, leading to greater choice, agency, & emotional freedom.

I have over 13 years' experience across varying sectors including Private, Charitable, Community Mental Health & Higher Education, working 10 years at a London university Counselling Service supporting students & several years at Mind with adults experiencing distress linked to hearing voices, paranoia, mood instability & personality disorders.

Otherwise, we will arrange a suitable day and time to meet for ongoing once-weekly 50mins sessions.
