About me and my therapy practice

I am an accredited psychotherapist with over ten years of clinical experience offering relational, confidential and deeply reflective therapy.

You might be experiencing anxiety, a life transition or difficult relationships. You may be affected by the past, questioning your sense of self or your purpose. If any of this sounds familiar, I may be able to help through either time limited or open-ended longer term therapy.

We would have a brief initial call (no cost) and if it felt right we would arrange an initial session where we can discuss what's bringing you in and how therapy together would be most helpful. We would then meet weekly at the same time to build consistent therapeutic support and have deeper conversations.

Practice description

My approach is relational, empathic and integrative - drawing on psychodynamic, person-centred and existential approaches. We would explore beyond the symptoms, discovering the root of your problems as well as what it means for you to exist. You will be empowered to face the challenges, anxieties and uncertainties of life and to re(discover) your strength and capabilities.

Alongside psychotherapy, I am also a yoga therapist for anxiety with specialist training in trauma. I am neurodiversity-affirming and have experience supporting clients who are being assessed for autism and ADHD, as well as those integrating a diagnosis later in life.

I am committed to working inclusively with LGBTQIA+ clients and people from a wide range of cultural backgrounds. I approach each person’s experience with openness, curiosity and sensitivity to the wider social and cultural contexts that shape our lives.

My first session

Please get in touch by email for an initial call, that usually takes up to 20 minutes (there is no cost for this call). If we agree to move forwards, we will arrange an initial session where we can talk more deeply about what's bringing you in and what you hope to get from working together. I will ask several questions to understand your needs more deeply and to 'paint a picture' of your life and circumstances. We'll get a feel for working together and can discuss fees and practicalities. The first couple of sessions are more of an assessment to see if my approach is a good fit for you and are a bit more structured.
