About me and my therapy practice

I offer  Body Mind Integrative Therapy.

Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected from your true self, struggling to feel your best, limited by trauma and the past, or need someone who will meet you where you are, and help to figure it out, to move forward, you are not alone.

I’m a Â鶹ԭ´´-accredited psychotherapist and supervisor with a background in trauma-informed modalities, somatic practices, and person-centred therapy. My approach is warm, informed, and collaborative. I listen not only to your words, but to what your body may be holding too, helping you to understand unconscious patterns, release tension and reconnect with your true self in a safe and supported way.

Together, we’ll work at your pace, honouring where you are, and gently exploring what healing and growth can look like for you.

I'm a counsellor with roots in diversity from both Polish and English cultures. I embrace these cultures for their unique qualities. These two backgrounds shape my approach to therapy: informed, compassionate, and promoting equity.

Life has brought me challenges, from loss and grief to personal transformation. These experiences taught me resilience, the value of vulnerability, and the importance of self-awareness and acceptance; embracing both strength and sensitivity, as well as the yin and yang of life.

I'm passionate about people, and I bring creativity and a holistic approach to my work. Whether you're facing a difficult time, seeking clarity and a solution, or simply looking for someone to listen, I'm here to walk with you on your journey.

During our first contact, a 15-minute consultation, I will offer more insight into my work and further information about my practice. We will have an opportunity to explore your needs and desired outcomes from counselling.

Please allow 24 hours to respond to your inquiry.

Practice description

In therapy,

In therapy, creating a confidential, warm, and empathetic environment while facilitating your autonomy is most important. Yet, I will share my experience and knowledge with you and support your therapeutic process with full engagement. Whatever you need the counselling space for, I will guide you emphatically, sometimes challenging you or being more direct, if appropriate. I have an appreciation for therapeutic humour, which, at times, can help you stay grounded and in the present.

It is essential to mention that my expertise lies particularly in helping individuals to heal from trauma. My approach closely resonates with those of Gabor Mate, Peter Levine, Bessel van der Kolk, Babette Rothschild, and Christiane Sanderson, all of whom emphasise compassionate inquiry. I draw influences from Eastern philosophies, primarily Taoism and Buddhism, as well as energetic healing practices and the therapeutic use of sound.

I am a counselling tutor and self-development group facilitator; I am also a sessional counsellor for different charities supporting survivors of abuse. Some of these are: Centre for Action for Rape and Abuse, Essex; Women's Aid UK, or Cambridge Rape Crisis.

In addition to my counselling practice, I facilitate dance and movement groups, and I am a soundbath practitioner.

About me and my therapy practice

I am an experienced counsellor, group facilitator, and supervisor, working with an integrative body–mind approach that honours the connection between psychological and somatic processes. My practice is rooted in a person-centred approach, emphasising empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard, while also drawing deeply from somatic therapies that recognise the body as a vital source of insight, regulation, and healing.

In an era where talking therapies are increasingly being called to address not just cognitive and emotional, but also embodied and trauma-informed experiences, I see the integration of somatic work as essential. Many clients present with issues that are not easily resolved through verbal exploration alone. Our nervous systems, physical patterns, and felt sense often hold truths that words cannot access. By integrating in-depth knowledge and experience with somatic awareness, I support both clients and supervisees in connecting more fully with themselves, deepening their capacity for presence, resilience, and embodied self-awareness.

Practice description

My supervision practice is grounded in a relational and embodied approach, integrating the Seven-Eyed Model (Hawkins & Shohet, 2012) as a flexible and multidimensional framework. I value its capacity to hold the complexity of therapeutic work, exploring dynamics from multiple perspectives, including the client, the therapeutic relationship, the supervisee, the supervisor, and the wider systemic context.

At the same time, I believe the true value of any model lies in how it supports the unfolding of the supervisee’s process, rather than directing or constraining it. I prioritise attunement to the here-and-now experience, ensuring that supervision is not overly intellectualised or driven by structure at the expense of presence. In my practice, I create space for embodied reflection, emotional exploration, and relational depth, helping supervisees stay connected to their felt sense and the deeper wisdom of their body-mind process.

A central aspect of my work is an ongoing inquiry into diversity, identity, and unconscious bias. As Myira Khan states, there is no such thing as a clean slate in the therapeutic or supervisory space. Our presence is shaped by culture, identity, upbringing, and systemic influence. Supervision must be a space where these layers are acknowledged and explored, not bypassed. We are always in relationship with the social, political, and cultural contexts that shape us and our clients.

Supervision with me is a collaborative, reflective space, anchored in presence, ethical awareness, and cultural humility, where we explore not only what is happening in your work, but how it is happening, and what it evokes in you as a practitioner.
