About me and my therapy practice
I am an integrative counsellor offering a warm supportive and professional space, where you can talk openly about whatever brings you to counselling.
I understand that taking the first step can be daunting and I aim to work at your pace with respect and sensitivity.
People come to counselling for many reasons. You may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, low, stuck or struggling with relationships, self-esteem, loss or life transitions or you might not yet have the words for what feels wrong. Whatever your starting point we can work together to explore your experiences, make sense of patterns and develop greater self-awareness and resilience.
Practice description
I draw on different therapeutic approaches and shape our work together around your needs. Feeling heard and understood and accepted is at the heart of my practice.
I offer a calm non-judgemental and confidential space. I work collaboratively towards clarity, awareness, emotional well-being and curiosity helping you connect with your own strength and resourcefulness.

About me and my therapy practice
Being stuck in a pattern of relating to the self or others that is not serving us any longer is a common human experience. My approach is integrative mainly psychodynamic, meaning I work with a person's defences and resistance in a gentle but challenging way, examining early childhood experiences and relationships.
My focus is to encourage you to develop your curiosity about yourself and others. Through this you can enhance your self-awareness to enable you to start taking responsibility for your own behaviour and gain control of your life / situation. This in turn helps you learn a new way of relating and build new healthy boundaries.
I create a safe non-judgemental space for frank, open and intimate discussions about your issues and struggles.
I am experienced in working with issues of self-esteem, depression, anxiety, PTSD, infidelity, communication, domestic violence, LGBTQ+, gender issues and suicidal thoughts. I offer short and long term counselling in English, Arabic or French to individuals, couples and families.
Individual: £70 per session
Couples: £80 per session
Practice description
I work from home.
My first session
The first session consists of:
- an explanation of how I work and my approach
- identifying the issues you are struggling with
- setting the goals and focus for the process
- establishing if we can work together
- deciding on the length of the process - short or longer term
- Agreeing the cost of sessions
