About me and my therapy practice

Integration Psychotherapy is a body-centred approach that gently supports you in reconnecting with your deeper self through the wisdom of your body.

We explore what is being expressed beneath the words – sometimes a movement, emotion, sensation, a part, imagery. metaphor or even a silence will surface which gives us a hint at what is beneath and wanting to be expressed.

While traditional talk therapies often focus on thoughts and emotions, Integration Psychotherapy works with all of you—body, especially the nervous system, mind, and soul. This allows us to reach and shift patterns that were laid down even before memory begins, creating space for new ways of being.

This way of working recognises that we experience the world not only through our thoughts and emotions, but also through what is held in our bodies. Every experience we’ve had—especially in early life—is stored in the body’s rhythms, reactions, and relational patterning. These unconscious imprints shape how we connect with others, how we feel about ourselves, and how we move through life.

With over 30 years of experience as a bodyworker, my approach to therapy is rooted in the body and the relationship. I believe the body holds deep wisdom and the relationship you have with yourself is primary and a mirror to how life appears and that healing can begin when we create the space to truly listen. At the heart of my practice is the therapeutic relationship—a space of safety, trust, and co-regulation, where lasting change becomes possible.

Practice description

I offer relational, trauma and attachment informed psychotherapy which can include breathwork, movement practices, ceremony, art, dreamwork, Internal Family Systems (parts work), guided visualisation, body awareness or anything that may arise in the session.

We listen closely to what your body is expressing and how the story of you is unfolding. Through gentle exploration, we can begin to uncover old patterns of holding, tension, protection and dis-ease.

This process unfolds at your pace, in a space of safety, trust, and co-regulation. By working in this way, you can shift and release these patterns on the deepest level, and become open to experiencing more joy, more connection, more vital health and more freedom.

Integration Psychotherapy can support you if you are:

• Feeling disconnected from your body or inner world

• Living with anxiety, chronic tension, or emotional overwhelm

• Feeling stuck

• Curious about how early experiences shape your present

• Longing for deeper self awareness and healing.

Sometimes we don’t know what the problem is, just that we are not ok. You don’t need to know how to begin. Just a willingness to listen—to your body, your story, and what’s ready to unfold. This is not about fixing, but a remembering of who you are beneath the layers – and allowing your natural capacity for healing to emerge.

Along the way I have also trained in counselling, IFS (internal family systems), CBT, embodied dance, somatic enquiry, yoga and meditation in many forms and have spent many years holding spaces in different ways for healing to happen and transformation to occur.

Practice description

I am a creative clinical supervisor. I trained as a Creative Supervisor to  meet my criteria as being both embodied and creative integrating theory drawn from Dramatherapy and Dance Movement Psychotherapy modalities.

This is an expansion of my work as a psychotherapist and my aim is to now support other psychotherapists, counsellors and space-holders in their clinical work, learning and self-development. My supervisory practice mirrors my psychotherapy practice in providing a person-centred safe space where the body and the relationship are at the centre.

It is as important for me to support the therapist’s human experience as it is their clinical work. We will co-create a space where the supervisee remains connected to their own process and is supported to practice safely, remain curious and active as to the personal impact of their work.

I also offer group supervsion.

I offer a free meeting to see how we each work and whether it can be a supportive and nourishing environment for us both.
