About me and my therapy practice

Finding the right therapist can feel like a big step, especially when life already feels heavy or confusing. You might be managing anxiety, navigating changes you didn’t expect, or feeling caught in relationship patterns that keep hurting. Perhaps stress is building, or old family or childhood experiences are still shaping how you see yourself and others.

How I work

My main focus is to build a strong, trusting relationship with you. I offer a relaxed, warm and accepting space where you can slow down and explore what’s really going on.

I work in an integrative way, drawing on different therapeutic ideas, mainly person centred, CBT and Psychodynamic. In simple terms, this means we might look at your current thoughts and patterns, explore the impact of your past, and connect with what you need in the present. Empathy, respect and compassion shape everything I do.

What therapy with me can feel like

Together we look at your thoughts, feelings and behaviours with curiosity rather than judgement. This can help you understand why certain emotions feel so strong, why certain relationships feel draining, or why you find yourself responding in ways that don’t match the person you want to be.

Therapy can also offer a space to challenge unhelpful thoughts and beliefs. We take this gently, in a way that supports you without pressure. Alongside this, we may explore how childhood or family experiences have shaped your relationships, your stress responses, or your sense of worth.
