I currently work Monday to Friday, with evening appointments on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Where possible, I am flexible and can accommodate shift patterns or changing work commitments.
About me and my therapy practice
Hi, my name's Clare, and I'm a Humanistic and Integrative psychotherapist working in private practice. I see clients face-to-face in a warm and peaceful environment, and offer online sessions across the UK.
You might be feeling stuck, criticised, invisible, anxious or low. Often, these feelings are our mind and body's way of signalling that something needs care and attention. You may not know exactly what that is, but you know that something doesn't feel quite right.
Practice description
In our work together, I offer a safe, supportive and non-judgmental space where we can explore what feels difficult. A strong therapeutic relationship is central to the work, as feeling heard and understood creates the safety needed to look more closely at your experiences. I work in an integrative way, drawing on different therapeutic approaches to shape the work around your unique needs.
Together, we take time to make sense of how past experiences may be influencing the present, gently exploring patterns that may be holding you back. As understanding deepens, this can support a kinder relationship with yourself and, in turn, influence how you experience relationships with others. This process takes time and commitment from both of us, and can open up new understanding, choice and the possibility of change.
My first session
I offer a free 20-minute initial conversation by phone or online to see whether working together feels right.
If we decide to go ahead, the first session focuses on getting a fuller picture of you and your life. We take time to explore your current circumstances, important relationships, and aspects of your history that feel relevant. This helps create a shared understanding of where you are now and informs how we work together.
