About me and my therapy practice
I’m a Âé¶¹Ô´´-accredited therapist with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals through a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties. My approach is integrative, meaning I draw from various therapeutic models to tailor the work to your unique needs and goals.
Some clients come to therapy with specific issues they want to address, while others are looking for a safe space to explore thoughts, feelings, or past experiences. Whether you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to begin, I offer a supportive and non-judgmental environment where we can work at your pace.
Practice description
A key focus in our work together will be your life context—your upbringing, current relationships, emotional wellbeing, and personal aspirations. We can explore difficult emotions, look at patterns in your life, navigate relationships, or plan for changes you’d like to make. You’re in control of how your therapy unfolds; I’m here to support and guide the process with care and respect.
Since beginning my practice in 2013, I’ve worked in a variety of settings including the NHS, third sector organisations, and private practice. This has given me the opportunity to support people from diverse backgrounds, dealing with a broad spectrum of challenges.
My first session
Before your first session, I will send you a short questionnaire to help me understand a bit more about your current circumstances. You’re welcome to return it beforehand, or we can go through the questions together during our first meeting. This initial session is also a chance for us to get to know each other, explore what you’re hoping to gain from therapy, and discuss how you’d like to work—whether short-term, long-term, or open-ended.
I work in accordance with the Âé¶¹Ô´´ Ethical Framework, which means I offer a respectful, confidential, and client-centred service.
