About me and my therapy practice
Change is a natural part of life. Some changes feel exciting, while others can be difficult and overwhelming. Some changes are chosen, while others are forced upon us. You may know you want to make a change but feel unsure where to start. Often, moving forward means making sense of the past and finding new ways to live.
If you are experiencing a life change and need a safe, supportive space to work through it, my counselling services in Malvern Link can help. Whether you are dealing with a bereavement, redundancy, relationship difficulties, or identity changes, I provide a confidential space where you can explore your feelings and consider what these changes mean for your life.
Sometimes, change begins from within—seeking self-understanding, exploring identity, or working out how you want your future to look. Together, we can explore these themes in counselling and work towards a greater sense of clarity and direction.
I have extensive experience supporting people through life transitions, from leaving home or starting a new career to coping with the loss of a significant relationship. These moments can feel challenging, and I offer the professional support you need to process, heal, and move forward. My aim is to provide a warm, safe, and confidential counselling environment in Worcestershire, away from daily distractions, giving you space to focus on what matters most to you.
I work with adults and young adults, offering both online therapy sessions (via Google Meet) and in-person counselling in Malvern Link, Worcestershire. If you are searching for a counsellor near me in the Malvern or wider Worcestershire area, I’d be happy to support you.
Practice description
I am a Humanistic Integrative Counsellor, with a predominantly person-centred approach. I also incorporate elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and solution-focused strategies, alongside other therapeutic modalities I have trained in. This allows me to tailor counselling to your individual needs, preferences, and ways of processing experiences.
I view each client as unique and work to understand your perspective, your story, and the goals you want to achieve. Counselling offers a rare chance to be truly heard by someone who is focused entirely on you. Through this process, self-understanding can grow and meaningful healing can take place.
I offer both brief, time-limited counselling and longer-term therapy, depending on your needs.
My first session
Finding the right counsellor is an important step. To help you decide, I offer a free 15-minute initial telephone consultation, giving you the chance to ask questions and see whether I may be the right therapist for you.
If you feel ready to begin, you can also book a full first session directly by email or via the contact page on my website.
First sessions last 50 minutes and provide an opportunity to discuss your goals, explore your needs, and make a plan for our work together.
