Having had personal experience of significant mental health issues, I understand that some may feel daunted and worried in taking the first step in contacting a counsellor for help. Problems can arise from anywhere, causing depresson, anxiety, stress, rages, withdrawal from normal life.  Sometimes it can help to have someone there who can untangle the troubles and help you move forward.

I have been working as a therapist for over 12 years, in a vartiey of settings from schools, IAPT service, charity sector and private practice.  I am a member of Â鶹ԭ´´, hold a clean DBS and am fully insured.

My original training was in Integrative Counselling - a blend of cognitive / psychodynamic / existential and person centered therapy.  Along my years of experience, I have grown to be more Eclectic in my appraoch and have included other approaches, including creative and animal assisted (dog) therapy.  I enjoy finding the best way to work with individual clients, rather than them being shoehorned into my single approach.

I can also offer family, group and couple therapy.

For over 10 years, I have developed a specialist area of working with neurodivergence in therapy and have significant amount of personal and professional experience in this area.

I am autistic and ADHD myself and find this has helped me become the honest, open and analytical therapist I am now - able to spot client's processes and difficulties and help them develop their own ways to support their own lives.

I also work very closely with a ND mentor colleague to support my clients better.

I work from a quiet, private office in Orpington, Kent which is in a calm garden environment.

I am able to offer face to face, telephone and online sessions.

I am able to offer individual sessions as well as group, and couple counselling.
