About me and my therapy practice

Welcome – Understanding You at a Deeper Level

Life’s challenges can sometimes feel overwhelming, leaving us stuck in patterns we don’t fully understand. I am a qualified and accredited counsellor and psychotherapist with over 12 years’ experience supporting individuals and couples in navigating these challenges. My approach offers a safe, compassionate, and confidential space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and the patterns that may be shaping your life and relationships.

Therapy is an opportunity not just to manage difficulties, but to uncover insights, resolve inner conflicts, and create meaningful, lasting change.

How I Work

I specialise in helping clients with:

• Anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem

• Bereavement, loss, and major life transitions

• Relationship difficulties and intimacy challenges

• Fertility struggles, miscarriage, and pregnancy-related issues

• Abuse, addictions, and other complex emotional experiences and other issues

Using a psychodynamic framework, I help clients understand how past experiences, early relationships, and unconscious patterns influence present behaviour and emotions. By bringing these patterns into awareness, we can explore their impact and create new ways of relating to yourself and others.

For couples, I focus on uncovering the dynamics within the relationship, exploring how each partner’s history and emotional patterns interact, and helping you reconnect in more fulfilling and authentic ways.

Practice description

I integrate psychodynamic therapy with attachment theory, neuroscience, and contemporary couple therapy in my work with couples and other relationships. My work is collaborative, and I tailor each session to your unique needs and pace. Together, we will explore both the surface challenges and the deeper roots of your experiences, helping you gain insight, develop resilience, and move toward greater self-understanding and emotional freedom.

Whether you are seeking short-term, goal-focused therapy or longer-term support, my aim is to help you:

• Understand yourself more deeply

• Break patterns that no longer serve you

• Improve your relationships and communication

• Build emotional resilience and self-compassion

Who I Work With

I welcome clients from all backgrounds and identities, including those from marginalised or underrepresented communities. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space for all, and offer therapy in English, Hungarian, and Slovak.

I work with clients based in the UK, Ireland, and internationally.

My first session

Taking the First Step

Therapy can feel intimidating, but it is also a chance to understand yourself in a profound way. I offer a free 15-minute phone or online consultation so we can explore your goals and see if we are a good fit.

The 15 minute session is designed to offer you a glimpse into our potential working relationship. It is an opportunity for you to determine whether you feel comfortable and aligned with my approach.

If we decide to work together, we will arrange weekly 50-minute online sessions at a time that suits you. Together, we will explore your challenges, uncover patterns, and help you develop new ways of relating to yourself and others.

The Starting Phase: Understanding Your Inner Landscape

In the first three to four sessions, we focus on building the foundation for our work rather than seeking quick fixes.

We will explore what has brought you to therapy now, while gently looking at your history and early relationships to understand patterns that may still be shaping your life. Together, we will begin to notice recurring themes in your emotional world and relationships.

We will also establish a consistent, safe framework for our sessions, creating a reliable space for deeper exploration. I may encourage you to speak freely about whatever comes to mind, helping us access thoughts and feelings beneath the surface.

Importantly, this phase also allows you to sense whether you feel comfortable and understood — as trust and connection are central to meaningful therapeutic work.
